Bands To Check Out! WATERPARKS!

This week’s selection for bands to check out comes in the form of Texan’s Waterparks!

So where to begin with them? Well, they’ve been on the scene for around five years now and released a few EP’s as well as last years album which has seen them explode, meaning they’ve able to tour around America, thanks to Vans Warped Tour.

Let’s not forget, they’re produced and managed by two pop-punk greats Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, having been collaborating with them on an EP titled Cluster. Because of this, they’ve been able to up their game musically and through live performances on tours with NeverShoutNever, Sleeping With Sirens and later this year with All Time Low.

Their album Double Dare was released to rave reviews from publications such as Rocksound and Alternative Press, phrasing their musical style, combining old-school pop-punk with electronic pop. ‘Stupid For You’ was the first single which will be a highly influential track in years to come. I’m comparing the track to Green Day’s Basket Case where I’m sure it’ll act as a huge closer at their shows.

If you’re in the UK, they’re opening for All Time Low which kicks off this Friday (10th March). Here are the dates.

Remember there are some shows that are sold out but if you get a chance to see them, take it! I’ve seen bands like Waterparks in recent years that have blown up in recent years and they’re ones to watch n the next few years!

Lastly, if you’re unfamiliar with their music, then here is some of what you’ll hear.

Not enough? Then here’s more.
