Courtney Bernett Gies Update On New Record

Now, Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett hasn’t has her newest record, a collaborative effort ‘Lotta Sea Lice’ with Kurt Vale out for too long but now, the frontwoman has her sights set on a new release.

In an interview with Beats 1, she revealed the record is almost ready!

“I’m trying to come up with a title for my new album,” she told Zane Lowe. “It’s all one sentence thoughts, you know trying to come up with something clever.”
When asked if her backing band would feature on her new record, Barnett said: “I don’t know. It could just be an album with me and a piano, so who knows? If I knew how the album was going to sound so far in advance, I wouldn’t bother recording it. But I love those guys, they’re the greatest musicians.”
