After a decade as a band, British Rock group Freeze The Atlantic, hailing from Surrey have announced they’re splitting up.
You can read the full statement from the band below.
“Hi everyone,
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the end of Freeze The Atlantic.
It’s been quite a challenge to keep things going in the last couple of years for various reasons and we feel that now is the right time to close the book on what has been an amazing journey.
Thanks to all of you who ever came to a show, bought an album/t-shirt and generally gave a damn over the last 10 years. You can’t begin to imagine how much this means to us.
In case you missed the news that Stand Atlantic’s new record is coming out in October, it’s called Skinny Dipping. But what you might not know, is that Creeper’s Hannah Greenwood is featuring on tracks nine.
But you might wonder, we’ll never hear it live. You’re wrong. She’s joining Stand Atlantic on their North American tour with Neck Deep.
Just over a year ago, The Fever 333 had their first gig in a Donought Store parking lot, if I’m remembering that correctly. This tour will be a huge step up from that.
The band will be opening up on all 19 dates of the upcoming UK/ EU Bring Me The Horizon tour.
You never heard of them? Check out this video for Made An America.
Okay, so the other day Palaye Royale shared the devastating news that their headline show at Koko, was closed by the City of London due to the structure of the building being out of code.
This left the date up in the air but now, a solution has been found!
The band will be playing the Electric Brixton venue on Sunday 7th October with all tickets purchased valid for the new event.
Speaking about the venue change, Palaye Royale vocalist Remington Leith has said “It was always a dream for Palaye Royale to have the chance to play Koko and sell it out. Well, you, The Soldiers of the Royal Council, made that dream come true.
But unfortunately due to circumstances way beyond our control, we just found out that we have to move the show from KOKO to a new venue. On top of all that, we learned that there weren’t any proper venues available on Friday to fit everyone that purchased tickets…so we had to find the best-suited venue that was free on the nearest date.
So now we will be playing our show on Sunday, October 07 at Brixton Electric—we hope to see every one of you there. And now we have 100 more tickets available for this show—so if you couldn’t come before, now is your chance to see us play our biggest show yet!”
Apologies this post has come a week late. I’ve been moving to a new place and haven’t had time to post. But now, here are ten of the best recent music videos.
We’re kicking things off with Ice Nine Kills as they continue to push their storytelling limits in the third instalment of ‘The Silver Scream’ series. check out A Grave Mistake below.
Now, after debuting their track Ignite, British melodic hardcore group Napoleon have has a video to accompany said track. Here’s Ignite.
We’re off to LA for this next band in the form of Death Valley Girls. Speaking on the track, they have said: “After having experiences with people we love struggling to stay alive, we believe the harder the battle, the less one is able to ask for help. We wanted to write a song about how important and necessary each person is, especially these days. We need numbers now more than ever to fight the good fight.”
And we’re jetting to Philadelphia for mewithoutYou. They don’t enjoy sticking to one definitive genre and often expand on what makes them so unique. And that’s just the case for their video for ‘Another Head For Hydra.
Back to the UK in the form of Our Hollow, Our Home as the band continue to give off just how great their next record will be. Here’s ‘In Moment’.
Now, This Is Life. and that’s just the name of The Dangerous Summer’s newest video.
Dani Washington has been teasing some solo material for a while now and are we excited. Just don’t act surprised if it’s not Pop-Punk.
Moving onto something a bit more Pop-Punk now, in the form of Neck Deep themselves. They’re a part of a compilation record from Hopeless Records, ‘Songs That Saved My Life’, set to be released November 9th. Check out their cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s Torn below.
Now we march to St Albans for a bit of Indie Punk! Tv Coma have released a video for their new single, ‘Trudy’, the latest from their debut EP, ‘Body Negativity’ which is a power-pop ditty inspired quinoa and sadness.
And I’ve saved a banger for last! The other day, The Story So Far’s newest record, ‘Proper Dose’ dropped. It’s the bands best work to date and in celebration of its release, they have dropped a new music for in the form of their sixth track, ‘Upside Down’.
And that’s it for another week of some of the best new music videos. Be sure to keep up to date on all the latest posts from Almost Anything Media and I’ll see you next week.
Okay, so this announcement will come as a surprise, and for some not so much. By now, everyone’s probably aware of Moose Blood being kicked of Good Charlotte’s 2019 tour due to accusations being made against the band. Specifically, they were made towards Eddy Brewerton after he reportedly stole explicit photographs from a woman’s phone, before distributing them to other members of the band via a private WhatsApp group.
Since the allegations have surfaced, Moose Blood have been removed from show opportunities. The band are taking legal action against these allegations.
Since they’ve been kicked off their support slot for Good Charlotte, the band have taken to Facebook to announce their hiatus. Below is their following statement.
