Grandson Nominated For A Juno Award

The JUNO awards have been officially announced and now we have some nominations.

Grandson is one of those nominated and it’s in the category of Breakthrough Artist Of The Year.

Could it be because his songs are a social commentary on America right now? It’s anyone’s guess but I’ll leave it out to interpretation.

The Juno Awards are to be run on March 11th -17th in London, Ontario.

The next band to make their comeback to the world are Forever The Sickest Kids.

Deafheaven Bassist Severely Injured In Cycling Accident

This is not a type of post I ever enjoy writing at all. Having helped reshape the landscape of the metal genre, a terrible accident has seen Bassist Chris Johnson (whom also has been Summoner and Doomriders) severely injured.

He has launched a crowdfund to help him fund some of the medical costs, which reads:  “This is a fundraiser to help cover medical costs from a recent bicycle accident, which resulted in me losing everything from my dignity (lol) to some teeth and beyond. I’ve had a few close friends suggest that I do something like this to help cover some of the expenses, so here we are, BUT, I’m going to work for it”.

If you’d like to donate some money towards the medical bills, you can donate via the following link.
