We’re all absolutely blown away by the response to our request to upload your covers of Black Flame to YouTube. We’re amazed not only by your dedication to take the time to learn and recreate our music, but also in the huge talent you have all shown in your versions of Black Flame.

As a band we couldn’t have got to where we are now without you all, and now that we’re onto our fifth album we want to give back to you. We will be hosting an exclusive studio event on the 16th and 17th of May 2019 in London. We will be choosing six people, one person for each role in Bury Tomorrow (Harsh Vocal, Lead Vocal, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass and Drums), that have uploaded your covers of Black Flame to YouTube to come down to the studio, spend some time with us practicing, performing and learning how to hone your craft even further. We may even pick up some tips from you.

Continue to upload your covers of Black Flame to YouTube using #BlackFlameBand, so we can watch them all! Be sure to send us links to the covers on social media. We’ll be contacting our chosen covers in April, and announcing shortly after!”

There’s not one but now two drummers departing their bands. First Grayscale and now, Slipknot.

In a short statement on their official website, Slipknot has said:

“Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6, and our upcoming shows around the world, our best ever. Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life. Long Live The Knot.”

Chris Fehn’s departure from the band is following reports that he was suing the band, whilst still being a member of Slipknot. The dispute is reportedly around pay and compensation.

Fehn is still to make a public statement about his departure.
