Code Orange Share New Track From Upcoming Record, ‘Swallowing the Rabbit Whole’

Heavy hitters Code Orange have shared a brand new single from their upcoming record, ‘Underneath’, set to be released 13th March 2020 via Roadrunner Records.

On the track, ‘Swallowing The Rabbit Whole’, Jami Morgan has said:

“’Swallowing The Rabbit Whole’ is the passageway into the deep descent that is the next era of CODE ORANGE… the next piece to the puzzle of UNDERNEATH. Duality is key, not only thematically on this album, but in the continued evolution of our sound and the larger heavy music world in general. You’ve got it all figured out until you’re drowning in it.”

Of the album, he adds: “’Underneath’ is about facing the duality in ourselves as individuals and as a society in an overcrowded, overexposed, all-consuming digital nirvana. Everyone has a voice and no one’s seems to matter… plummet down the rabbit hole of your deepest fears, anxieties, and regrets to confront the monster that has been building underneath.”

You Me At Six Drop New Single, Proceeds Going To Australian Bushfires

You Me At Six have released their first new music of 2020, their first single since the release of ‘What’s It Like’ in 2019.

‘Our House’ is the stand-alone single which is a departure of their usual sound, in fact it’s quite a difference from their usual material.

On the track, frontman Josh Franceschi has said:

“In March 2019 we were coming back from a North American tour. I was sat talking to a Geologist who was returning from a summit in Atlanta where it was confirmed that by 2050, large parts of heavily human populated areas would be uninhabitable. He said something to me that has seemingly stuck with me, “I’ll be long gone by then, but perhaps you, your children and grandchildren will have to live the devastation left for them by previous generations.

My interpretation of this is that we are all part of the problem if we aren’t actively trying to do something to contribute to the issue of climate change.

We finished the song whilst recording in Thailand in October 2019. We were inspired to address the issue of climate change, but equally by the hope that the youth have given me. Never in my life have I seen a younger generation take to the streets to have their voices heard than on this subject. They want change, they want their futures back because our house is on fire, and we must act now.

Seeing footage of what has been happening in Australia, we felt compelled to do something to help those who are in need, both humans and wildlife. It’s for that reason we are using the most powerful tool at our disposal to help, music.

We are releasing this track as a stand alone single with all proceeds donated to the charity WIRES, who are committed to rescuing native Australian wildlife in distress.

Our hearts go out to a country that means so much to us.”

Here’s what fans have been receiving.

This is where the fans are being directed to on this link.

On the webpage it contains a photo of a diary entry with the hashtag THISISTHESOUNDTHATWEMAKE.

Stand Atlantic Release New Track

A massive new single has just been released this week!

It’s coming from Aussie fave’s Stand Atlantic and it’s a lot different in some ways but SA to the core.

In October 2019, the band posted on Twitter that they’d started work on the follow-up to their 2018 record, ‘Skinny Dipping’ but now for the first release of 2020, we have ‘Shh…’.

The track itself has less of a Pop-Punk feel to it and a few more effects than people are used to but Bonnie’s vocals, wow! They are huge on this track and could be the best we’ve ever heard her sing.

Check out the track below.
