Tom Morello, whom some might know as the guitar player for Rage Against The Machine. For those who don’t know, he’s an active and outspoken person on the issues in the world. This is something he’s been on following the death of George Floyd and the ongoing Black Lives Matters protests.
Here though, some people don’t know where Tom and the band stood where he tweeted his surprise to one fan in particular who expressed their disappointment about having to hear Tom’s “political bs” at the moment.
“I use to be a fan until your political opinions come out,” they wrote. “Music is my sanctuary and the last thing I want to hear is political bs when I’m listening to music. As far as I’m concerned you and Pink are completely done. Keep running your mouth and ruining your fan base.”
He already took down one social media troll but now he moved his attention to the comment where he expressed his surprise as well as adding that he’s going to remove any of his own music that isn’t political from his discography.
“What music of mine were you a fan of that DIDN’T contain ‘political BS’?” Tom wrote. “I need to know so I can delete it from the catalog.”
This set the world of Twitter ablaze where Rage Against The Machine started to trend and people started to announce how surprised they were at the revelation they were a political group!
Yeah….. there’s a lot more where this came from. Even Rise Against got in on this.
