Canadian Hardcore Punks Obey The Brave have announced they’re going to be calling it a day.
As a group, the band have released four records. 2012’s ‘Young Blood’s, 14’s ‘Salvation’, 17’s ‘Mad Season’ and 19’s Balance’.
A statement from the band can be found below.
“After 8 years, 4 albums and countless tours across 5 continents, we’ve decided to hang up our skates. As much as we love this band, our focus and priorities have shifted. Now that we’re all busy chasing new endeavours and experiences, it feels like the right time to move on.
For obvious reasons, there will be no final shows, just fond memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. We’ve had the honour of releasing music on Epitaph, shared the stage with our favourite bands and met some incredible people along the way. What a f*cking ride! We’re forever grateful for the support you’ve given us over the years.
Much love,
– Alex, Stevie, Terry, John, Cory, Ben, Miguel and Old Greg”
