Downfalls High Gets over 16 Million Views On Opening Weekend

Following the premiere of the film over the weekend, Machine Gun Kelly has announced that his Downfalls High musical amassed 16 Million Views over the last weekend.

The adaptation of his record, ‘Tickets To My Downfall’, was uploaded to Facebook on January 15th 2021 and has now been uploaded to Youtube as well.

At the time of writing, it currently stands at 3.3 Million views on Youtube.

“Opening weekend did over 16 million views!!” says MGK. “Now we’re premiering it on YouTube today for everyone to watch. Thanks to everyone who helped us turn the album into its own world and era.”

“It was almost like shooting 14 music videos back-to-back, but with a narrative that’s outside of my personal life stories,” the musician previously told NME, adding that it was shot in just four days. “It focuses on other characters, and then me and [Travis Barker, Blink-182] are just the narrators. It’s an interesting concept because it hasn’t been done for an album ever, maybe outside of like Pink Floyd’s The Wall.”
