Architects Confirm Record Release Show For August 2021

Brighton’s Architects have confirmed the details of a record release show to take place in August for their release, ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’.

The show is set to take place on August 7th 2021 at Pryzm in Kingston-upon-Thames, and subject to the ongoing pandemic. The release show is currently shucked to be the band’s only performance this year.

Steve Klein (Ex-New Found Glory) Has Been Convicted Of Indecent Exposure

Steve Klein, once a founding member as well as the former guitarist for New Found Glory has been convicted of indecent exposure following a number of charges raised against him over six years ago.

Klein was a member of New Found Glory from 1997 up until his removal from the band in 2013 when the allegations came to light.

In December 2013, as per a report published via idobiKlein was arraigned at San Luis Obispo Superior Court and pled not guilty to multiple felony charges–two counts of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 14, three counts of lewd conduct with a minor 14 or 15, one count of intent to commit lewd act with a minor, and one count of possession of child pornography.

According to a report published by The Tribune, the conviction was confirmed during a trial in San Luis Obispo Superior Court last month after accepting a plea agreement. He will serve no jail time, be sentenced to two years of formal probation, and will also be required to register as a sex offender for at least ten years.

His official sentencing is expected to take place on March 9th 2021.

Paramore Have Three Unfinished Documentaries

Hayley Williams has shared that the band have three separate documentaries about them that were never completed.

Williams shared this with a fan via Twitter, confirming that the three documentaries were filmed across the past decade but “were never finished”.

The Great Escape Festival 2021 To Be Held Online

The Great Escape Festival have announced this years iteration will be held online.

The event is scheduled for mid-May, too early for the new COVID-19 guidelines that mean events like Reading & Leeds, Live At Leeds and 2000trees are still good to go.

“We can now confirm that The Great Escape 2021 will no longer be taking place in Brighton this year, however, we will be taking The Great Escape online for the first time,” organisers explain.

From 13th-14th May they will instead air artist performances, keynote speakers, panels, talks and debates online.

“We’ll be back next year in real life on 11th-14th May 2022 and as usual,” they add.

Cane Hill Share New Video For ‘God Is The Enemy’

Cane Hill have shared a video for their brand new single, ‘God Is the Enemy’.

The track completes their ‘Krewe De La Mort’ song collection that began with ‘Power Of The High’ and ‘Kill Me’.

Elijah Witt says of the drop: “God Is The Enemy is an honest comment on contemporary Christians and their skewed views of living Christ-like. 

“From the hypocrisy of the church shielding its abusive history (and their present), to the blatant racism & control of women’s bodily autonomy using the bible as a scapegoat – it’s obvious that the followers of Christ have gone astray. 

“GITE implores you to imagine how the religious world would react if someone claimed to be the son of God again.”
