Avril Lavigne has announced that she has been forced to reschedule her upcoming touring dates of the UK and Europe to 2023.
The reason behind this is due to the ongoing complications with the COVID-19 pandemic.
A full statement can be read below.
“To my fans in Europe and the UK,
I have some unfortunate news to share with you all about my UK and European dates. I have to make the difficult decision to postpone this tour until 2023. Due to the ongoing issues surrounding the pandemic, there are a series of real and venue restrictions from country to country that have made the tour not possible to happen. It’s not an easy decision, but it’s one that will help ensure that we are able to play every single date of the tour, put on the best show possible at full capacity, and operate in a safe environment. It breaks my heart to do this, but I know it will be worth the wait.
The tour is now rescheduled for Paril-May 2023. All existing tickets are valid for the new dates. You can find all the updated info at www.avrillavigne.com“
And here are the new dates:
6th – Apollo, Manchester
7th – Brixton Academy, London
8th – Brixton Academy, London
9th – Brixton Academy, London
10th – Brixton Academy, London
The good news though is that Lavigne’s upcoming record, Love Sux’ is set to be released via DTA Records.
Her latest track, ‘Love It When You Gate Me (Feat. blackbear)’ is available to view below.
