Nova Twins have shared a very interesting track from their upcoming record
‘Cleopatra’ and is a cathartic mix of Nova Twins full potential as well as a way of expressing the resilience that two have. Set over a grooving instrumental, it is pure Nova Twins mastery of the highest order.
Guitarist Amy Love had this to say about the tune:
“‘Cleopatra’ was written off the back of the Black Lives Matter protests. Attending them made us feel powerful as two mixed-race women in an era where people were suddenly waking up to Anti Racists conversations. It’s about celebrating who we are and being proud of where we come from. We hope this song encourages people from all walks of life to act and feel the same way too.”
‘Supernova’ is set for release on June 17 via Marshall Records. Pre-orders are available via the following link.
