KREATOR have dropped “Strongest Of The Strong,” the second single from their forthcoming fifteenth studio album, “Hate Über Alles,” which will be released on June 10th, 2022.
Five years after their highly acclaimed album “Gods Of Violence” (2017), peaking at #1 in the German album charts and #2 on the UK Rock & Metal Album Chart, the genre-defining band are happy to present this 11-track behemoth.
After sharing their first new music since 2016 last month, melodic hardcore band Praise have unleashed their new song “Hotline To Memory”.
The second single from their upcoming album, All In A Dream, the song looks inward at recollecting pieces of the past that will never leave your thoughts. Clocking in at 2 minutes, “Hotline To Memory” bursts through catchy lyrics supplied by Andy Norton’s honeyed vocals surrounded by melodious yet punchy guitars and percussion reminiscent of bands like Hüsker Dü and Jawbox.
All In A Dream releases May 6th on Revelation Records and is available for physical pre-order here and digital pre-save here.
Central New Jersey alternative rock outfit Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son has just released its new EP ‘We Go On’ via Telegraph Hill Records.
Of the title track, frontman Bobby Mahoney says, “The track is about the cosmos, space, the universe, life, and death. It wonders about what happens to the energy things leave behind when we can no longer see or experience them. It’s about the luck that we end up on this planet at the same time as others and that our paths cross in the ways they do, when they do, and why they do. I believe the impact of our brief time on this planet will echo long after we are gone. “Like your favorite song, we go on.”
Hail The Sun and Nova Charisma vocalist Donovan Melero has dropped his new single “Neon Ocean”, which will appear on his upcoming album Chelsea Park After Dark due out April 22nd, 2022 on Equal Vision Records.
“Neon Ocean” is a synth drenched, swirling song that highlights Melero’s unique approach to indie-pop songwriting. A subdued electronic beat and sparse harmonic texturing support and highlight his powerful vocals before the crescendo of the song hits with a massive final chorus.
Melero had this to say about the creative core of his new song:
“Joe started slamming these chords on a piano over and over with a very steady yet intentional heartbeat. It felt very anthemic. So I catered to that vibe lyrically, giving the sense that I know I will always be able to pave my own path doing the things that I love if I want to.”
Chelsea Park After Dark will be available on April 22nd from Equal Vision Records. You can preorder vinyl and merch via the following link.
Jamie Beale (Novatines) has released his debut single, ‘Borderline’.
The single, self-produced and engineered by Katie May from Real World Studios, sees Jamie perfectly blend indie-rock, dream-pop and acid-funk with melancholic lyrics and an unwavering sense of romanticism.
Borderline was written during the winter lockdown in the middle of an increasingly isolated period of his life. His relationship was coming to an end, he was alone in lockdown and his music and touring career within Novatines was looking uncertain, along with his idea of a future within music at all.
Speaking about the time, Beale states: “I was spending the majority of my time living in a hazy dreamworld, searching for something positive to hold onto, I felt that no matter what, I still had me and my own personal freedom of mind, and there was something comforting about that. Somewhere between my partially self-induced cabin fever madness and a sense of unshakable positivity in an unusual time, I wrote Borderline. I guess it’s a song for people with nowhere to go, and how not knowing where you belong isn’t always a bad thing.”
Ambitious post-hardcore outfit Glasslands have shared their crushing new video for “Secret” along with releasing their new full length album The Deep on Velocity Records.
This concept album follows fictional protagonist Mr. Creeps, who resides in the titular location The Deep. Dealing with concepts of failure, insecurity, grief and depression, The Deep chronicles the main character’s journey of self examination and gives the listener the opportunity to draw parallels to their own life. The band consists of Josh Kincheloe (vocals), Jordan DiSorbo (guitar), and Brandon Mullins (drums) and specializes in meshing heavy riffs with atmospheric post-rock to create a sound that is uniquely their own.
On the themes of their new record, vocalist Josh Kincheloe has this to say:
“There’s a lot of anger, sadness and resentment on this record. It’s not something that was intentional, but I’m a believer in allowing myself to feel what I’m feeling. The life we’re expected to portray always comes with a positive twist or needs to end up with a “happy” or encouraging outcome, but sometimes things are just dark. So rather than suppressing those feelings, I just let it all out and tried to be as real as I could. The Deep is essentially a storyboard of my struggles and my journey through them.”
Glasslands made a triumphant return to the road earlier this year as part of The Velocity Records tour supporting D.R.U.G.S, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Secrets and Dead American, sharing their caustic live show with scores of new fans. Expect more tour announcements from the band soon.

Indie pop, Singer-songwriter Bonner Black is thrilled to release her new single “Midnight Blue” that is out now.
Black developed a lifelong curiosity for space exploration from her grandfather, Richard Black, a Rocket Scientist for NASA who worked on the Apollo Missions. The glittering acoustic guitar intro sounds like stars paving the way for Black’s soaring cosmic vocal lift in the first line of the chorus. You’ll feel like the main character in your own Indie Film with technicolor lyrics so vivid it’s like you’re really there. It’s powerful, honest songwriting from beginning to end.
She taught herself to play guitar in her early teen years, and started writing and performing in Nashville 3-5 days a week at 14. Dropping out of high school at 17, Black moved to Nashville to continue honing her craft and embarked on her first regional tour throughout the Southeast shortly thereafter. During that same time, Black participated in four lobbying trips with NSAI to Washington, DC to advocate for songwriters and copyright law reformation. In 2016, she was awarded the Artist Entrepreneur Award by The Oxford Center of Entrepreneurs at The Times Center in New York City.
Fast forward to today, and her music springs from many facets like rainbows of light and color showcasing her Southern roots blended with catchy melodies and lyrics. As an independent artist, Black has amassed over 140k streams across all platforms while cultivating an enthusiastic and engaged fan base and online community.
Pop Singer/Songwriter Peach Martine has dropped her latest single, ‘Romeo And Juliet’.
The trackis a pop-punk fantasy. Pairing grungy, high-energy production with Peach’s striking vocals, it’s an untempered, in-your-face anthem that makes you want to scream at the top of your lungs.
With the hooks of Simple Plan meets Jimmy Eat World, ‘Romeo And Juliet’ feels like a throwback but turned to eleven for 2022. The feisty Pop-Punk banger is a welcomed addition to what is becoming a transcendent year in the genre.
Bowling For Soup are gearing up for the release of their upcoming record, ‘Pop Drunk Snot Bread’.
