Newcastle alt-rockers Jango Flash have released their soul-searching effort ‘Killing Time’, the first reveal from the band’s upcoming debut EP set for release early next year via Modern Sky.
Spearheaded by producer and songwriter Jack Angus Golightly, who initially formed Jango Flash as an escape to his own alternative reality where he could manifest art and music following a personal family tragedy, the group’s artistic sensibilities have already attracted several early plaudits from the likes of The Independent, The Line of Best Fit and Clash following their first few releases.
Detailing their brand new effort, charismatic frontman Golightly explained: “It was one of those lightning bolt songs where I had to get what I needed to say off my chest fast. It’s as much about the impact of addiction as it is finding solace in someone who understands the person beneath it all”.
