Novelists Announce New Vocalist, Ex-Alazka’s Tobias Rische

The French Metalcore troupe Novelists have announced they have brought vocalist TObias Rische (Ex-Alazka) into the band as their new vocalist.

This announcement follows the departure of Matteo Gelsomino, their original frontman, whose departure was announced in April.

The band are expected to release their first track with Gelsomino, titled as ‘Lost Cause’ on November 27th 2020 via SharpTone Records.

Alazka Have Broken Up

Alazka have announced that they have called it a day.

The band started in 2012 as Burning Down Alaska before changing their name in 2017 and have released one EP, one Full Length record and a few singles.

The latest track before this announcement was ‘The Cure’ back in March of this year.

The band have released a statement to fans, which can be read below:

“One day or another all good things must come to end. And as hard as it is to write these words, here we are announcing the end of ALAZKA – an absolutely incredible chapter of our lives and the wildest journey we could have never imagined when we started this band over 8 years ago. But over time perspectives and people change and the time comes to move on to new challenges. All the countless memories and friends we’ve made along the way will never been forgotten. We will forever be grateful for the loveliest fans we could have asked for and last but not least the incredible team of people that have always had our back in the good and the bad days.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to every single one of you. We will miss you all.

“Be the phoenix rising from the ashes.”

With love,
Tobias, Marvin, Julian & Lotze”

Music Video’s 18/05/18

Now I know I missed last week! I’ve been a little overwhelmed as of late but there is a list this week! But enough of me chatting away, here are my picks for recent music videos!

First up is August Burns Red. They’ve dropped a creepy new video for ‘King Of Sorrow’ but it is really amazing!

Now, Against The Current have recently announced a new era and with a new era comes new music… and new music videos. Check out the new era in Strangers Again.

Ahead of their upcoming visit to the UK next month, German rockers Alazka have released a video to accompany, ‘Everglow’, the latest cut from their debut record, ‘Phoenix’.

Next, New York deathcore group Emmure showcase a quite gruesome killing spree in their new video for ‘Ice Man Confessions’. The track was inspired by Richard Kuklinski, who’s most known as the Ice Man Killer whom frontman Frankie Palmeri plays.

Ahead of the release of their new record, ‘Reverence’ Aussie Hard-hitters Parkway Drive have dropped a new video for their track ‘Prey’. This is is the third single the band have released prior to their new record.

Like Moths To Flames are proving to be one’s to watch at the moment as the band have lifted a new video for ‘Empty The Same, the latest track from ‘Dark Divine’.

Moving to Sussex. The trio known as Gloo have revealed a new video off their debut record, ‘A Pathetic Youth’. This is the video for Holiday.

Palm Reader are another band to be watching and for good reason. Everyone is loving their dark, dreamlike tracks and now they have a new video which goes alongside that criteria. It’s taken off their third studio record, ‘Braille’ via Silent Cult Records.

As Chvrches get ready for the official release of their new record, Love Is Dead, they have now released a video for ‘Miracle’.

Lastly on the new video list is Varials. They’re coming off the back of the band’s record and the fantastic track for the last pick of this week is Empire of Dirt. It’s from their record, ‘Pain Again’ which was released via Fearless Records and you just have to watch it. I mean it.

Music Video’s 16/02/18

You know what it’s time for! I’m back for another round of music videos! Let’s get started!

First up is Alazka. They’re a German melodic up and coming group who’s debuted their video for a track called ‘Everything’. It’s off their record called ‘Phoenix’ which is out now via Sharptone Records.

Live video time now on this list! This comes from All Time Low as they’re showing what it’s like at one of their shows in the video for Drugs & Candy.

Now the king of partying, AKA Andrew W.K has debuted a video for the title track off his upcoming record, You’re Not Alone’. The record is set to be released March 2nd via Red Music/Sony Music.

New music alert as well because this track is the solo project of badXchannels, also known as Craig Owens (best known for his vocal work in Chiodos and D.R.U.G.S). This is his first track to be dropped this year as he ventures into something new. This is the video for ‘Don’t Come And See Me’.

Now Black Veil Brides new record only dropped last month but now they’ve released a video to accompany their latest single, ‘Wake Up’ and as you can guess it’s got the themes of Wild Ones and prophets. Check it out below.

Now, this is a band I can’t wait to hear more of! This band are the Scottish metal group known as Bleed From Within and they’ve dropped a video for their lead single off their upcoming LP, ‘Era’, which is set to drop April 6th via Century Media Records.

This legendary Pop-Punk band are currently on tour in the UK at the moment on some dates which are their biggest ever! To mark the occasion though, Bowling For Soup have dropped a video for their track ‘Catalyst’.

This is a track I’ve listened to quite a few times since it dropped and now the alt-rock trio Black Foxxes have dropped a new music video for the single, ‘Manic In Me’. This is from their new record ‘Saela’ which will be released March 16th via Search & Destroy Records.

Apparently, this one has been in the works for a while now. Jonathan David has been reportedly in the works since 2008. This is Jonathan Davis first track off his upcoming solo record as well as a solo artist in general. This is ‘What It Is’.

And last but certainly not least is the stellar new record from rockers Moose Blood. This is off the upcoming record “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Anymore’ and is their next single in the form of ‘Hav I Told You Enough’.
