Pop Rock heroes All Time Low have dropped a new single, ‘PMA’ (Post Modern Anxiety) which also features from British band Pale Waves
Alex Gaskarth said the following:
“‘PMA’ is a journey into isolation and overstimulation. It’s about the little mundane things we do to keep ourselves distracted when loneliness becomes a constant and leaves us feeling apathetic. It’s existential dread wrapped in nervous laughter kissed by the SoCal sun. Heather and Pale Waves joining us on this one quite literally brings the hopeful shine to the lyrics, the promise of safety in the shared experience, the understanding we’re all living it together.”
All Time Low have dropped a new video for their latest track, ‘Once In A Lifetime’.
Here’s what Alex Gaskarth says on the release:
“this video represents taking a place left abandoned, empty, and filling it back up with light and love. It’s about the small moments and the big ones, the Blink-and-you’ll-miss-it experiences we sometimes take for granted.”
There’s some trends going about at the moment, one which I posted about the other day. Nickelback recently went viral when a sea chanty version of their track ‘Rockstar’ went viral but now there’s something else.
@sampopemusic has now Sea Chantied (I’m assuming that’s how you write it) an All Time Low track, specifially ‘Dear Maria, Count Me In’.
Now let’s sea if the band do get in on this because it would be epic.
Check it out below.
Before we go though, All Time Low have given the seal of approval as you can see for yourself below.
The UK are certainly getitng their fair share of UK tours for next year. On top of Green Day, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Fall Out Boy and Weezer playing in 2021, All Time Low have been added to the bands who are making their way across.
They played a handful of shows in February 2020 in support of their eighth studio record, ‘Wake Up, Sunshine’ and they’re coming across to London, Manchester and Glasgow in September 2021.
The news comes after the band dropped a new version of the track ‘Monsters’, which features Demi Lovato.
“Demi’s been a friend for a long time and we’re really excited that she was down to lend her absolutely incredible voice to this song as we reimagine it and continue to celebrate all the ways it’s connecting with fans around the world,” said vocalist Alex Gaskarth.
After the physical release of the new record, ‘Wake Up, Sunshine’ last week, the record landed at the number three spot in the UK Albums Chart. Previously, it was at number 28 back in April at the time of its digital release.
‘Wake Up, Sunshine’ is the band’s 4th Top 10 record in the UK, with previous albums to hit that spot are ‘Don’t Panic’, ‘Future Hearts’, and ‘Last Young Renegade’.
Fantastic effort from them!
In addition, the band recently went in depth on the record, talking about it in a track by track system. You can watch the video below.
With the current Covid-19 pandemic going on, the live music industry has been brought to a halt which means the crews who man the shows to make them possible are all out of work.
For All Time Low’s crew, the band are putting together a special live stream to raise money for their crew on their Veeps account. All tickets purchased ($10 a ticket) will have the proceeds go toward the crew.
