Avenged Sevenfold Share New Single, ‘We Love You’

Avenged Sevenfold have shared the next single ahead of their eagerly-anticipated eighth studio album, ‘Life Is But A Dream…’, following on from the previous ‘Nobody’ earlier this year.

The experimental nature of this latest track ‘We Love You’ fits with the band’s upcoming album plans, with frontman M. Shadows saying:

“It’s a different mind-set, completely reworked from what we think of as records and how they should be made.

“And what I mean by that is The Stage is a sprawling sort of vibe the whole time – it’s got a thing going on. But this one we were like, ‘We want to express ideas quickly, and more concise. And we want to use different ways that we’re using our instruments.’”

‘Life Is But A Dream…’ is set to arrive on June 2nd 2023 via Warner.

Avenged Sevenfold Not Attending 2018 Grammy’s In Protest

Despite being nominated for Best Rock Song for the 2018 Grammy Awards, Avenged Sevenfold have revealed they’re going to skip on their attendance in protest of the ceremony.

The reason? They have concerns with how they handle their coverage of the Rock and Metal categories, as their award will not be televised meaning the categories don’t get the same promotion and celebration as many other celebrated genres of music.

Avenged Sevenfold Crew Member Dies

A crew member of Avenged Sevenfold has died in Stuttgart, Germany after he fell from the rafters while braking the stage apart.

Here’s a statement from the band’s website

“He fell a very far distance onto a 19-year-old man on the local crew,” the band wrote. “Tragically, the 19-year-old died from his injuries. The other man is now in critical condition at the hospital.”

“This is beyond heartbreaking to everyone in the band and on our crew. We all send our thoughts and prayers to the man in the hospital, both families involved, all of the local Live Nation crew and everyone else whose lives have been affected by this terrible accident.”

“We love our crew so much as well as the many local staff who are essential to our show every night wherever we are around the world. This is such a stark reminder of how quickly an accident can happen and lives shattered in the process. When we hear more we will update you.”

My thoughts are with everyone involved and hoping that the man in critical condition pulls through.
