Band Of The Day Interview – Little King

Today on the Band Of The Day Interview we talk to Little King. During the chat we talk on the influence of commercials and other influences and what Ryan listens to after a records finished.

If could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

Hi! My name is Ryan…nice to meet you. I play guitar and sing and write and produce and parent and event plan and play guitar. Sometimes, I like to walk and travel and eat and meditate and screw. Not all at the same time, but sometimes.

What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

Dynamic, Thoughtful, Contaminated.

What are your musical influences?

Everything is a song in my head. The tv, chewing my food, the Pomeranian howling at my mom…those are songs to me. I guess maybe the influences just trace back to commercials for the 70’s kid crowds. The ones for cereal and toys during the SuperFriends. I can still sing those by heart and I was like 5 or 6.

Love David Byrne and Neil Peart for sure. Peter Tosh and EVH and poor Layne Staley too. Hendrix. Iron Maiden for sure early on. Jimmy Page is a huge influence always. Same with The Who and some U2. Megadeth.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

Of the top 5, 4 of them are NOT APPROPRIATE for print.

So I’d say #3 which will have to be #1 for now would be a party of revelers dressed up as salamanders and hissing at the band. Like 25 of them in Socorro, New Mexico. Sofa King Weird.

Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

I’d love to play in Italy and Spain and France and Germany and Netherlands and Belgium. I think they like some of our music over there, and those are just places that I want to revisit. If we could play in India I’d love to do that as well.  Our drummer Eddy played there with Overkill or Ministry, can’t remember which. That would be badass!

What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

I hold the record for highest blood alcohol content in an arrested bald idiot  in a Corvette in 2019 in Lower Delaware. Not proud, but that is mine.

What have you been listening in the last few weeks?

You know…nothing. Not really. My ears are kinda fried for a good while when I finish a record.  I’ll start back with some 70’s reggae and maybe some oldies. Like 50’s oldies. Then I can gradually add back the usual suspects. Tupac is great to ease back into music, too

Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

Our 7th record is called Amuse De Q and it’s due out September 3 of 2021. I’m really proud of it…the folks on the album wrote great parts and played so well. I’m really lucky. Single is Keyboard Soldier and that’s out now everywhere. YouTube especially at Little King Official, but everything is always on my web site too at www.littlekingtunes.com.

Band Of The Day Interview – Alterpodes

Hello there everyone and welcome back to another instalment for the Band Of The Day Interview. Today in the hottest to introduce you to what is hopefully your new favourite band Alterpodes, a London based Psych band. They are Alternate Spaces, a vibrant mix of noise and melody, darkness and light, spanning continents and distilling dreams. Today we talk to the bands lead guitarist, Reyson Morales.

If could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

RM: Hi I am Reyson Morales and I play lead guitar and background keyboards for the recordings.

HA: Hi I’m Harry and I sing and play guitar.

RC: Hi I’M Robinson and I’m the drummer.

2. How did you all meet?

RM: Me and Harry met during the beginning of the pandemic online and I started sharing some song ideas that I had recorded music for previously back home in Puerto Rico.  Harry came up with new lyrics and melodies for them and the result was just amazing so we decided to carry on.  Later on Robinson joined us on the drums, added some new elements to the exiting recordings and has started contributing to the writing process now too.

3. How long have you been playing?

RM: My mom put me in piano lessons when I was around 10 so that sort of gave me some background in music composition and structure etc… but I didn’t start playing guitar until I was around 12 when my grandma gave me an acoustic guitar for my birthday but later on I feel in love with rock and roll and wanted an electric so I started experimenting with putting a mike in the acoustic and running it thru a little speaker to make it sound all distorted lol and I just loved altering the sound of it and that lead to my pedal collection today which is over 50 I think lol.

HA: We’ve been together as a band for a little over a year.  I’ve been playing guitar since the age of 6.

4. What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

RM: Melancholic, Euphoric, Transcendent

5. What are your musical influences?

RM: There are so many like: David Bowie, Graham Coxon from Blur, the Reid Brothers from JMC and Brian Molko from Placebo amongst many others.

6. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

RM: The singer of my previous band Lazy Queen used to jump over the drums at the end of the show and one time he just landed his face on one of the cymbal stands and ended up in the hospital… that was too much punk for me sorry lol.

HA: In a warehouse party once the band seemed to come up through the floor during the set.  Haven’t seen that before or since.

7. Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

RM: Would love to play in San Francisco, CA. I have a special love for that city since I went to college there and besides London it’s my favorite place.

HA: I’d second that – I stayed in SF in 2010 and it was some of the best times.  Once it’s cooled off a bit I’d like to visit the Sierra Nevada too.  Other than that I’d settle for the maldives!

8. What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

RM: Tears for Fears lol.

HA: Tough – there are certain things I’ve bought especially when I first started buying music aged 12 that I don’t listen to much these days.  Maybe the Beautiful South?

9. What have you been listening in the last few weeks?

RM: I have been listening to a lot of this new post-punkish bands from Eastern europe like: Holygram, Molchat Doma, Velvet Condom, etc… and Blood Red Shoes which I have always loved!

HA: I just checked out Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and think they have a really cool “post” classic rock vibe.  I didn’t think you could get away such a clear nod to those references but they are doing it and now I want to too!  Turns out if you do it with integrity, passion and intelligence that transcends any genre – I feel bad I’d maybe forgotten that – Long live rock n roll!

10. Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

RM: Yes we have so many songs now that we are planning to release soon, some are already finished and some we are in the process of recording… so stay tuned!

Band Of The Day Interview – The Yalla Yallas

Hello everyone and welcome back to The Band Of The Day Interview. Today, we’re introducing a band which is literally a stones throw away from me in Leeds, UK. Today we talk with Will Grinder from the always Hi-Energy band The Yella Yellas!

Could you introduce yourself for us, who are you?

My name is Will Grinder I play guitar in the Yalla Yallas, a 4 piece punk rock n roll band from Leeds.

How did you all meet and how long have you been together?

Rob Galloway the singer and songwriter in the band had been playing as one man abrasive techno outfit and decided he wanted to start playing in a band, I answered an advert on a local music forum and we bonded over shared musical interests, we were joined by self-confessed bass handler Matthew Dempsey. There have been numerous drummers in the group but Grant Henderson, the producer and engineer of all the bands recorded material is now in the drum stool. We have been playing together as a band for roughly 12 years.

What 3 words would you use to describe the music you play?

Not fucking about.

What are your musical influences?

Iggy Pop, The Stooges, Dead Boys, Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Guns & Roses, Primal Scream, Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Unkle, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros, Spaceman 3, Neil Young & Crazy Horse,  Hawkwind, Brian Jonestown Massacre.

What is the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

A man crowd surfing in a wheelbarrow at a squat gig on the outskirts of Amsterdam

The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, fantastic music venue with a true community ethos

What is the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

I don’t believe in the idea of guilty pleasures, if you like something play it, tell your mates about it, don’t feel as though you cant admit to liking certain things.

What have you been listening to in the last few weeks?

Kikagaku Moyo, Earthless, Hey Colossus, GNOD, Mogwai, GZA, Beastie Boys, Burner Band

Are there any releases you have planned in the future?

Band Interview Of The Day – Delilah Daybreaks

Hello everybody. If you’re here then you know that means! It’s time for another band interview of the day! Today we have Delilah Daybreaks! They are a heartfelt punk rock trio from Minneapolis whom have been going since 2015! Let’s get talking to them!

  1. If could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

I am Doyle Alexander, I play guitar and sing in the band Delilah Daybreaks alongside Owen Hiber and Mycah Rapoport.

  1. How did you all meet?

Well, I met Owen through just being the only other person around his age who played guitar, and I met Mycah through us living in the same apartments and in turn having the same bus stop.

  1. How long have you been playing?

I have been playing guitar for about ten years now, and Delilah Daybreaks has been playing together for about four to five of those years.

  1. What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

I would probably say… passionate, honest, and driven.

  1. What are your musical influences?

Recently my biggest one has been The Lawrence Arms, particularly the songs written by Chris McCaughan. The other big ones would be the Violent Femmes, Weezer, The Pixies, and Alkaline Trio…

  1. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

Well, there hasn’t been a ton of particularly odd things at our shows but the biggest thing I can remember is just seeing people get real handsy and make out in the back of a crowd. It trips me up every time I see it and it’s a lot more frequent than I ever expected it to be. For example, we will be in the middle of the set and I will this dude with his hand up a girls shirt so casually, clearly not giving a flying fuck about anyone around him, and like I said before it really isn’t too strange but my memory of shows isn’t super fresh either.

  1. Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

I really want to get the band down to Chicago as soon as possible, we have never played there and I think once all of this wraps up playing down there would be really special.

  1. What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

Most of the time I’m pretty upfront about my music taste because I couldn’t care less what someone else thinks of my taste because well.. it’s my music taste, not yours… so I generally don’t get too embarrassed about my taste in music. However, I have listened to the Hamilton soundtrack an embarrassing amount of times, which I do kinda hide.

  1. What have you been listening to in the last few weeks?

Recently I have been going crazy over that new Lil Nas X song Montero, I have also been cranking up some Nomeansno, and that new Waterparks song Numb kicks ass! Also, of course, everyone has their staples that never leave.. for me, that’s Weezer’s album, Pinkerton, The Smiths The Queen is Dead… and yes I know Morrissey is bigoted and dumb but Johnny Marr kicks too much ass to be ignored so I’m sorry. Oh, and I also love Slipknot’s first album, that thing has been on repeat for at least the last five years in my playlists.

  1. Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

We have been working on a new release that is aimed for late summer or early fall, and we just put out our new ep called [REDACTED] which is everywhere now.

Check out the bands EP, [REDACTED] below.

Band Of The Day Interview – Blitz Union

Today for you on todays Band Of The Day Interview we have Blitz Union, a Prague based quartet which combines EDM and Rock! Let’s dive in below.

  1. If you could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

We are Blitz Union, a new visionary music project and creative force that combines EDM elements with Rock music. The main headquarter of our Union is based in Prague, Czech Republic. Blitz Union consists of me (vocals), Shodushi (guitar), Governor (drums) and Schtorm (bass). Our message is poignant – as our lyrics highlight alarming issues that humanity faces in today’s uncertain world along with a sense of urgency, whilst providing hope and inspiration.

  1. How did you all meet?

The history of our relationship, how we got to know each other, goes way back to the past. Initially, it was not music at all what put us together. Our ways crossed because of our common “research/obsession”. And this “research” was later on the main impulse to found Blitz Union. We will need our followers to help us out with this matter, but we do not have all the data ready yet. However, you can expect revelation of the first details soon…

  1. How long have you been playing?

It was sometime in 2017 when due to unusual events that happened to me in my life, I knew what I had to do. I like to say that it wasn’t like “I want to start a band”, but more like “I must start a band”. I needed some kind of a ‘medium’ through which I could share my stories, my visions.  Since I love music my whole life, starting a new band was a clear choice. Anyway, the first record of Blitz Union was released in March 2019 (“Revolution”) so we have been playing together for 2 years officially.

  1. What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

 Rock, EDM….. & Rock (Laughter)

  1. What are your musical influences?

We were all raised on the rock/metal bands which have been popular around

year 2000, so for example Korn, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Limp Bizkit,

Rammstein, Static-X etc. The influence of these bands is undeniably audible in

our music. But we are also inspired by the new electronic, dance & trap artists who became

a big inspiration for our Union too.

  1. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

I think it was the moment when I saw our guitarist Shodushi jumping into the crowd during our show in Braunschweig, Germany last year. When performing the last notes of our song “Deleted”, he suddenly ran over the whole stage and jumped in full speed into the crowd. But since nobody expected that, he slammed one poor lady with his full weight. She was shocked, but luckily nothing happened to her. We gave her our apologies and some of our merch for free after the show and it was all OK again (Laughter).

  1. Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

I really don’t care where, but would love to perform SOMEWHERE (Laughter). It may sound like a cliche, but it does not matter to our Union where we are performing actually. We would love to hit the stage anywhere in the world. No specific places prefered.

  1. What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

I think I do not own any of this kind. But that would be probably due to the fact that I do not own many physical copies in general. But once I have some like that, I will let you guys know for sure (Laughter). There is no music one should be ashamed to listen to.

  1. What have you been listening in the last few weeks?

I did not listen to much music lately. Since we are intensively working on our own new stuff, I prefer silence when I am out of the studio. Perhaps, only some chill, instrumental music. Like “Twin Peaks OST” which I have on vinyls.

  1. Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

We will be releasing the last song of our second EP “Not Proud” in mid-April which
will close another chapter of Blitz Union.
Then we will focus with all our force to finish our first, debut full album which we
would like to release this year already as well. But you can expect more of Blitz
Union’s music in various forms to be released throughout the whole year.

Band Of The Day Interview – Evereal

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a great Friday! Today for you on the band of the day interview we have a Canadian Metal Quartet in the form of Evereal! Let’s chat to them and find out more about them!

If you could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

We are Alicja Moniatowicz-Vocals, Stephen Roberts-Guitars/Keys, Gord Esau-Bass and Nelson Bennett-Drums

How did you all meet?

Through music. Steve Met Gord when they played in a Rush tribute together and Nelson auditioned for Evereal but happened to also be working with Alicja. Steve started an Evanescence tribute with Nelson and Gord and Alicja joined… So when Evereal found itself needing a new vocalist Alicja was an obvious choice.

Alicja: The music scene is sort of small when you think about it, everyone pretty well knows each other or of each other lol. It’s a small world for sure!

How long have you been playing?

All combined around 100 years but honestly that varies for each of us. Steve started guitar as age 8 and never looked back but that was back in the stone ages. The same for Nelson and Gord. Alicja on the other hand has been singing since an early age too.

What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

Multi-Genre Femmetal

What are your musical influences?

We each bring different influences. Alicja brings pop influences, Nelson brings meat and potato Bonzo drumming influences, Gord brings Steve Harris,Geddy Influences and Steve brings Prog, Metal, Classical and rock influences.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

What is weird in general about modern shows is people talking…. People talk incessantly and fiddle on their phones during shows. They spend more time trying to videotape it than sitting back and taking it all in. It’s very strange from the old days when the crowd was engaged and had your full attention.

Alicja: I remember just playing one song as a sort of opener for a friends band and the sound guy just turning the sound off midway through the song because it was time to start the show. I was like “That wasn’t very nice lol”. To me that is weird behaviour.

Nelson: Back when I was 18 in one of my first bands I saw our bass player just suddenly disappear. He had just stepped too far out and fell right off the stage. And it was a pretty high stage too.

Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

Steve: Ikea….Kidding, I would love to attend a live show at the Queen Elizabeth Theater…Or better yet play a show there.

Nelson: I have been dying to visit Europe – Rome especially. So if I ever get there maybe I’ll get to see a concert in an ancient Roman or Greek amphitheatre. That would be so cool.

Alicja: I really want to go dancing and see a live concert!

What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

Steve: I own an entire audiophile collection of Big band music. A complete set consisting of 50 individually boxed red audiophile vinyl categorized by artist, genre and year.

Alicja: Oh boy…except for now of course? Girliscious. It’s true. Don’t come for me.

What have you been listening to in the last few weeks?

Steve: Mostly the new tunes we are working on. I tend to critically listen to them during the writing process to get ideas and production ideas.

Nelson: I have been listening to Rush lately because I kind of missed a whole decade of their music. I was a rabid fan when I was young but kind of stopped buying their records after Power Windows.. So I am trying to catch up on some of the stuff I missed.

Alicja: Portishead and Backstreet Boys, go figure.

Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

Steve: Yes! We are working on new material including a cover tune.

Alicja: Make sure you come and say hello and follow us on our socials to stay in the know of all the latest and greatest!

Band Of The Day Interview – Pressure

Hello everyone! Welcome back to a brand new interview today! We introduce you to Press, a Swedish metal trio who have their first concept record later this year but first let’s get to know them a little better!

  1. If could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

We are Pressure, a story metal band from Sweden! We write about different kind of pressures around us and how to handle them. Our music is based on the mood of the emotions or situation that we are writing about so it has a lot on influences. Some songs are very hard and heavy and some songs also have some softer tones to it. You can find everything from standard heavy metal to power metal in our songs, mixed with a bit of folk music and classical. All our songs are based upon real and true stories that we either have experienced ourselves or been witnessing.

  1. How did you all meet?

It all started with Emil signing up for a guitar class with Simon. That was over 12 years ago. We started as a cover/party band but after some years of touring we realized that the best music we could do was the one we wrote ourselves. We have had a lot of members during the years but Olof, our lead singer was the last to join. He has been with us since 2018, he got the job through an audition.

  1. How long have you been playing?

Pressure in it current form has been around since 2018!

  1. What three words would you use to describe the music you play?
    Truthful, heavy and deep
  2. What are your musical influences?

Our best influences actually come from life itself. We collect stories and experiences so we get a lot of inspiration and influences from the story itself. As for musical influences its kind of hard to mention because our sound changes a lot from song to song and we keep on adding new sources of influences. We can instead say that we get really inspired by other bands who place story driven music. One example is the great power metal band Sabaton and their historical metal songs.

  1. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?
Hahaha, almost every show has something weird. But Ok, once we were playing a wedding in the northern part of Sweden. A really good gig and we were to sleep in the newly weds garage after the show before leaving for home. The couple stayed up and talked a bit with us as we cooled down, but soon the bride was getting tired and the groom went away with her for their wedding night. We were getting ready to go to sleep but then suddenly the groom returned. The bride had fallen asleep and he said that he rather spent some hours with a metal band in his garage than with his sleeping wife, because they would have their whole life in front of them. A good party it was!
  2. Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?
We will start going to shows and playing shows. We always support local bands and after this all the bands will need our and your support more than ever. Support local music!
  3. What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?
Ralph Lundstends – Hairy Fantasies, a very, very, very, very strange album.  Bought it for the name, but well it eh, was just spinned once!
  4. What have you been listening in the last few weeks?
Many different music. We have been on a revival quest so everything from Iron Maiden, Metallica, Rainbow, Sabaton, Motley Crüe, Guns ‘n Roses and so forth!
  5. Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

Yes, we are releasing our first concept album “Path of a Shadow” the 7th of may this year. It’s a story about your life told from your shadows perspective. Your shadow is the one that has been with you through all your hard and good times. Because when you lock the door and hide under your bed, Your shadow is still around and hear you, see you and understands you. Your shadow is never judging you. He is just always around. Here are the Prelude text for the release

Lost in an ocean of terror and dishonour, you realize you are nothing but alone.

You fall to your knees, whispering along the breeze, but the waves do not even reach you.

You reach out to the stars, but they move further away.

You swim and swim, but you drown until you decide to rise from the waters.

Lit by the moon, you glisten in glory as you see me reflected on the sands you once hated.

Unlike the waves that ignore, my support outpours.

Unlike the stars that turn back, I’ll keep you safe from the pack

of wolves that desire to devour you and have you gated.

I am your Shadow, and this is my path.

A journey that starts with you and concludes our wraths.

They say ignorance is bliss, but I say to know is better than to dismiss.

Now hear me!”

Band Of The Day Interview – The Last Element

Welcome back to another edition of the Band Of The Day interview for March 9th 2021. Here’s The Last Element! They’re a Dutch rock quintet and they’re ready to chat to now!

  1. If could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

The Last Element originates when we face the passing of one dearly loved, the hardship of a broken home or the breaking of hearts – it is the first spark, the first sense of emotion, a first feeling that evolves into a creative mind. Bringing these elements together they find a way to grow – Broken hearts fit like pieces of puzzles and these pieces mend into one big heart.

We believe there are many like us, waiting to join our hearts.

Together we are stronger, together we are The Last Element.

  1. How did you all meet?

We started a while ago, Jan and Robert already knew each other from previous musical endeavours, later on they found Jasper and Noah and The Last Element was formed!

For each of us it just fitted like pieces of puzzles, the sound, the style it all came together.

  1. How long have you been playing?

As a band? 3 years, as individuals most of us got in at an early age!

  1. What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

Heartfelt. melodic & diffuse

  1. What are your (musical) influences?

That would be life, simple as that, a lot of emotions arise from the daily, when I write lyrics it’s always inspired by real life events that I go through, some I’ve been through and some are happening, but mostly I just write what pops up in my head. I need a pen and paper to clear my head, screaming and singing it all out of my head when I record. In the end it’s something we all face and we all have different ways of expressing what we feel. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to the lyrics, cause honestly it’s not about me… it’s about you. But of course there are a lot of bands that influenced us as well! We love listening to all kinds of music, so you might even find influences of Queen or Michael Jackson in there.

  1. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

Honestly? You hear all kinds of crazy stuff, eating the heads of bats, spraying pig blood….
But I haven’t seen any of that. The weirdest thing might be bands that I thought we’re epic, sucking live. That’s a weird feeling 😉

  1. Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

We’ll I got tickets for multiple shows, so the first one would be Melkweg, Gonna see I prevail when they finally come back! After that some Limp Bizkit and Red!

  1. What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?

honestly I listen to nothing but rock… or rock like music. So there is no record that I own that’s not rock and that I would be ashamed of. If I really have to give you something, it would be that I can really enjoy things as backstreet boys and maybe even some spice girls 2.

  1. What have you been listening in the last few weeks?

Alpha Wolf, I prevail, BMTH, Slaves, Spiritbox, Slipknot, Architects, kingdom of giants to name a few 🙂 all amazing bands, haha to be honest I listen to around of 200 bands on shuffle on my iphone, so I could make this list sooo much longer.

  1. Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

do we… YEAH!! We have a new single coming out next week, 15 March, it’s called Cut It Off and honestly we think it’s our best song yet! So with a little patience you won’t be disappointed we promise!

Band of The Day Interview – Dig Two Graves

Welcome back everyone! You know what time it is! It is band of the day interview time! This is where we bring a brand in feed em some questions as a get to know you section where there’s some surprising answers along the way. This time in the hot seat is the Progressive Metalcore band Dig Two Graves! And if there’s two thing we love on this blog one is music and the other? Who doesn’t love a bit of metalcore?

  1. If you could introduce yourselves for us, who are you?

Dig Two Graves is a progressive metalcore outfit from New Jersey. Combining an eclectic mix of Progressive Metal, Djent, and atmospheric dream pop, the group has garnered acclaim from a wide variety of music listeners, in and out of their genre. The band just released their critically-acclaimed debut EP, “Deathwish.” Since their conception in 2017, Dig Two Graves has been working tirelessly to separate themselves from the pack in a very crowded genre. By combining a variety of musical styles into their all too often, cliché-heavy genre, they hope to be a breath of fresh air to anyone that listens to them play.

  1. How did you all meet?

Josh and Kenny have known each other for years and played in a few bands prior to this one. They both were interested in starting a heavier project at the time. Josh started writing some music for the project and met Mike in a college class who was very interested in the material. Then all we needed was a bassist and we searched around for a while and tried a few people out until we found Jesse.

  1. How long have you been playing?

The band formed in 2017 and started writing material but we didn’t have anything ready to go until 2018.

  1. What three words would you use to describe the music you play?

Heavy, piano, yelling

  1. What are your musical influences?

Too many to name to be honest so we can list a few: the gazette, Avenged Sevenfold, Deviloof, Weezer, Kanye West.

  1. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen during a show?

Some dude picked up a table and ran into the crowd with it.

  1. Being away from the stages since last year, where is the one place you’d visit when the restrictions are lifted?

Definitely going to as many concerts as possible. We are all deprived from live music.

  1. What’s the one record you own but wouldn’t ever admit to owning?’

By the nature of this question I don’t know if I should answer.

  1. What have you been listening to in the last few weeks?

Lot of old Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold.

  1. Are there any releases you have planned in the near future?

We are currently working on new songs that should be finished up soon and then we should be able to finalize our debut LP.
