It’s back, the Devon-based festival Burn It Down has announced it’s great bands who will be appearing for its 2019 edition!

It’s all happening down in Torquay, in the South West’s biggest indoor alternative music festival which will have the likes of Holding Absence, Basement and Black Peaks.

Summer UK tours are looking amazing! Adding to the ever-growing tour news is that Basement are heading out for a short run of dates with Honey Lung and Hockey Dad.

Basement Announce UK Tour

Basement are up for a UK run!

They’re heading out on a short run of shows with Honey Lung and Hockey Dad! That is a good lineup right there!

They’ll be playing six shows at the back end of August 2019. Below are the full dates.

Ipswitch rockers Basement have announced the details of their fourth full-length record, titled as ‘Beside Myself’.

The new studio record is set to drop via Fueled By Ramen on October 12th.

2000 Trees Festival Announcement

The first announcement for the 2000 Trees Festival is here!

The first headliner of the Cheltenham festival comes in the form of At The Drive-In with a UK exclusive performance.

Joining them will be Hell Is For Heroes, Creeper, Basement, Arcane Roots, Touche Amore, Turbowolf and Gold Key.

The festival will take place at Upcote Farm, Cheltenham between 12th – 14th July.

Can’t Swim Announcements

Can’t Swim have made a few announcements.

Firstly, they’ve announced their debut album entitled, ‘Fail you Again’, will be released March 10th via Pure Noise Records. Here’

Secondly, they’ve gained a new member. Andrea Morgan will be taking up the drumming duties from Danny Rico, who is now playing guitar for the band.

And Lastly…. They’ve released a new music video for ‘We Won’t Sleep’, which you can view below.

Basement Release Live Video

Basement have released a live video so good news! If you’ve ever wanted to see them live but haven’t, here’s your chance!

The track they play is the title track from their album Promise Everything which was filmed at The Royale in Boston just before Christmas.

They’ve also just announced they’ll release a deluxe edition of their album through Warner Brothers Records. Here’s the link to pre-order a copy, which will be released March 3rd.

Basement Sign To Fueled By Ramen.

Basement have signed with Fueled By Ramen records. They’re a major label which boasts artists such as Paramore, Twenty One Pilots and more.

While this will be their international records label, Warner Bros. records will still be in charge of their UK affairs.

This is what the band had to say on Facebook:

There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes with Basement as of late and we’re excited to finally share some of that with you all. In December, we took a chance and signed a new record deal with the people at Fueled By Ramen.

We can’t pretend that this was an easy decision to make because up until this point, we owe so much of everything that’s happened to Run For Cover. That being said, time is short and even more so in the world of music and when you’re presented with an incredible opportunity such as this, you have to give it a shot. Thank you to RFC for always supporting us and a MASSIVE thank you to FBR for taking a chance on us. We are very excited for the future.”
