Behemoth Re-Sign With Nuclear Blast Record, New Record Coming In 2021

Polish giants Behemoth have shared they have re-signed their deal with Nuclear Blast Records, who will distribute their music worldwide.

The band originally signed with Nuclear Blast Europe prior to the release of 2009’s ‘Evangelion’

Frontman Nergal says on the signing:

“Nuclear Blast has been a household name in metal for decades, and Behemoth has been part of that long and illustrious history. But now is about the future, and we look forward to beginning Behemoth’s next chapter with a refocused and revitalised team at Nuclear Blast!”

In addition to the signing, the band have confirmed new of their twelfth studio record, the follow up to their 2018 release ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest’, scheduled to drop in Autumn 2021.

More details on the upcoming release will be confirmed as they develop.

Behemoth’s Nergal Has Been Found Guilty Of “offending religious feelings” by a court in Poland

Nergal of Behemoth is set to fight back against a conviction in his native Poland for “offending religious feelings”.

The news of the frontman latest court battle broke via Super Express earlier this month as it was announced the musician was facing a charge of blasphemy after stepping on an image of the Virgin Mary during a Me And That Man photoshoot 2019.

Now, Notes From Poland have confirmed that Nergal was found guilty by a court in Warsaw – but that he has contested the ruling, meaning the case is now going to trial.

Nergal was reportedly ordered to pay a fine of 15,000 Polish złoty and court costs of almost 3,500 złoty. While he did not comment in court, he took to Instagram today (February 16) to state: “Will I let superstition and fundamentalist dogmas capitalize on this and EVERY other case of the same nature? FUCK NO! Nigel has some ases up his sleeve… Just wait and see.”

When the case was initially brought about, the frontman wrote: “Another lawsuit in the process. Reason? In every case the same: offense of RELIGIOUS FEELINGS! Can u imagine this nonsense in XXl century? Poland is mentally soooo fuckin’ behind the civilized Europe that we r literally THE last bastion of so called“blasphemy casus”. Even extremely Catholic Ireland removed this paragraph from constitution lately. It WILL happen in Poland at some point …. and yea, I’m willing to be that stepping stone. FUCK religious fundamentalism in every fuckin hole. And frankly, I’m sure I will win this and EVERY other case. Just wait and see.”

We also proudly present the uniquely brilliant, Unto Others who will warmly welcome you to this night of metal magic!”

New Tracks Roundup 05/06/20

Hello everyone and welcome back! It’s time for another week of the best new tracks that have recently been released, all in good order of epicness. I do apologise this is coming a few hours late in the day, there’s been a few things I’ve been pre-occupied with this week. There’s also going to be no Music Video Roundup post this week just as a change. Don’t forget, this post covers a range of genres so there’s a little something for everyone!

The first band up this week are the infectious Chapel.

This track follows on from their track ‘Friends’ from last year and this one, ‘Mushy Gushy’ is an ode to the feeling in your stomach when you look at someone you love.

We’re heading off to Poland for the masters of metal Bohemoth. This is off their brand new EP ‘A Forest’ which dropped today via Nuclear Blast Records.

On the track, ‘Evoe’, Nergal (Guitar / Vocals) has said:

“‘Evoe’ and ‘Shadows Ov Ea Cast Upon Golgotha’ are two brand-new, unheard songs that continue on from where ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest’ left off. We’re fortunate enough to have had more than enough music for the record which afforded us this transitional EP release as we move towards our new offerings. These songs may be b-sides but they’re really strong and fresh! At the very least, we hope it gives you Legions something to distract yourself from the monotony of our collective situation. Enjoy!”

To the states for the next choice in this weeks New Tracks post! Keeping things heavy for the metalcore outfit Attila who have a new single out in the form of their latest single, ‘Cancelled’.

This is the first material since the release of last years’ ‘Villain’.

How about some newcomers to the scene? We have the glorious Forlorn who’ve recently inked a deal with Silent Cut. This is the debut release as part of the label and the first tracks since they introduced themselves to everyone in the world.

Now we’re at the final track of the week!

This is a team up of two massive bands where each of the bands haev released a version of one of their tracks with the other band’s vocalists delivering the lyrics. The two bands in question for this are We Came As Romans and Fit For A King.

This means we have Ryan Kirby on vocals for this one!

And that’s it for another week of a countdown of the best singles out in the world in the last week. Be sure to check back next week for another round of great singles. If you have any suggestions for me to check out, be sure to send an email or message us via the socials on Facebook or Twitter!

Music Videos 05/10/18

It’s Friday. It’s 4 PM. You know what time it is. It’s time for another music video roundup! I find ten of the best recent music videos and they’re all put into a list for your viewing pleasure. So let’s go.

First up is The Word Alive as they have recently premiered a track which they have created in collaboration for the League Of Legends World Championships. The Glitch Mob and Mako also appear one the track as well.

So, you know how Roam’s latest record, ‘Great Heights & Nosedives’ was pretty awesome? They’ve just recently released a brand new video for their tracks, ‘The Rich Life Of A Poor Man’ where they chronicle the past few years.

Fresh off two new singles earlier in the year, metalcore icons Atreyu have released an enhanced and insane video for ‘The Time Is Now’.

Pressing on with the promotion of their critically-acclaimed third record, ‘Nearer My God’, the St. Louis based indie rock group Foxing have released a video for ‘Heartbeats’.

Yorkshire newcomers Captives are new to the scene but they’re so new that, they have got their first single out and about. It’s called ‘Ghost Like You’ and you can check it out below.

And now we go to Poland! We’re going for some titans right now as Behemoth are gearing up to release their anticipated new record, ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest’, their first LP in over four years. Before anything happens though, the trio have unleashed ‘Bartzabel’ which see things get seriously dark!

But, before then, the heavy-hitting trio have unleashed a NSFW video to accompany ‘Bartzabel’, which sees the band conducting some dark religious ritual which gets a little horrific at times.

You can stream and watch the video for ‘Batrzabel’ below.

Up next are Floridian heavyweights, Trivium. They’re keeping things simple and straight-forward with the video for ‘The Wretchedness Inside’, which acts as the midpoint track from last year’s full-length, ‘The Sin And The Sentence’.

Time for a statement. Aussie band Hellions have released a new video for a track off their upcoming release, ‘Smile’. Speaking on the video, the band have said: “Our Director, Aimee-Lee X. Curran, her crew and our cast really helped bring those words and the meaning behind the song to life. It was a pleasure to create and we are ecstatic with the result. The little details in our hero, Danica Burch, and our ballroom casts performances were paramount in bringing this all together. Thank you to everyone involved for such a pleasant and professional experience. We hope Hellions fans enjoy the video for ‘Smile’ as much as we all enjoyed making it!”

Before the penultimate video, I do have to say I had to put these two touring bands next to each other just because. First up is The Faim who are changing the face of the Alternative Rock scene. These Aussie lads are something special but you do have to experience these tracks live because to see them is just something special in itself.

And lastly….. Against The Current recently released a brand new record. Yes, the ‘In Our Bones’ era is well and truly over and now they have just released ‘Past Lives’. Now they have a new video out for their track, ‘Voices’.

And that’s it for another roundup of music videos. Don’t forget to check back next week for another list of ten of the best music videos. Every Friday at 4PM.

Music Videos 07/09/18

And for the second video, we’re travelling all the way to Tacoma for Alternative Rockers Skating Polly. This is the third single from the band’s recent record, ‘The Make It All Show’ which was released back in May and this track also features Bratmobile’s Allison Wolfe.

Now, this next video is from the legend himself Andrew W.K. From the record, ‘You’re Not Alone’ is the title track off the record itself.

In the last week, it’s certainly been a war of words between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly. Here’s some lyrics from ‘Kamikaze’.

If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun
And I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly.

Now, Machine Gun Jelly has responded with a track called ‘Rap Devil’ which is a play on Eminem’s 2013 track ‘Rap God’ which you can watch below.

And for our next video, we’re off to Shetland of all places! This band is the energetic four-piece group Forgotten Sons and you have to listen to Anthemic new track, here’s ‘Pennies In The Water’.

We’re off to Dayton, Ohio for our next band that is the magnificent Hawthorne Heights. Their latest record, ‘Bad Frequencies’ was released via Pure Noise Records in April and we’ve been engrossing ourselves in the record since. To add to their visuals, check out the video for ‘Bad Frequencies’ below.

Polish death metallers are less than a month from releasing their new record, ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest’, which will be their first full-length record in over four years. To keep us on our toes until that day comes, Check out ‘Wolves Ov Siberia’ until then.

It’s just a week until we have a new record by Good Charlotte in our possession. We’ve gotten some great tracks and seen them perform some of their best gigs in recent memory and now we have another track to keep us entertained until the album is ours. Here’s ‘Prayers’

It’s been a pretty huge week for the Aussie band Stand Atlantic. They’ e signed to Hopeless Records, Announced a new record and released a huge new track. Check out Lavender Bones below.
