British Singer / Songwriter Bronnie has dropped a new track, ‘Colour Looks Good On You’, following the premiere on her radio show KCC Live last night.
Though it has now been released, the song has been a part of Bronnie‘s catalogue for a few years now, and was performed at most of her acoustic hangouts during her tours in the UK, Europe, and US.

Hey everyone. First off, I have to say apologies on my end for no New Music or Music Video Roundup last week, life got in the way of things for me when I got some more hours at my regular job which added to my other responsibilities. But now, we’re back to normal with things.
But now, we’re back! Welcome back to another weekly Friday post of ten of the best recently released music videos and sometimes a little information that comes with them! They’re not all within the same genre and they’re all different in some way or another but that means that there’s a little something for everyone here but come on, let’s get down to the music (videos)!
First up this week is the Pop-Punk Songstress herself, Bronnie. Keeping herself busy down in lockdown, there’s been some shooting, editing and more which culminate in the video for ‘R U The Same’.
Heading over to Hertfordshire for The Hunna, the band have released a video for ‘I Wanna Know’, which is a track from their upcoming record, ‘I’d Rather Die Than Let You In’.
Ryan Potter (Vocals, Guitar) says:
“‘I Wanna Know’ is up there for us with one the best songs we’ve ever written, it’s high octane all the way through and doesn’t let up, it’s kind of our Motley Crüe moment on the album. we played it on tour before we’d even started recording the album from a demo we did with Feldy and it was insane every time! Its story comes from a place of extreme lust and infatuation with someone, wanting to know how they tick, what the feel, what they believe, wanting to be apart of anything they do, almost so much you could literally blow up.”
Next, heading onto a newly fresh band who’ve recently signed onto Hopeless Record, we have Point North! They’re gearing up for the release of their record, ‘Brand New Vision’ which is set to be released on August 17th 2020.
For the time being though, here’s a visual for the track, ‘Personal’.
Heading over to the heavy hitting Flordia duo, Bloodbather next, we have a new track titled as ‘Void’ which is expected to feature on the band’s yet to be announced debut record.
Kuler Millo (Vocals / Bass) says:
“‘Void’ is about fixation on a person and perceiving how good they have it. And wanting to wear their skin metaphorically and literally after observing them (stalking them) for an undisclosed period of time.”
Moving back across the pond for the latest Inklings incarnation, we have the third single off the upcoming EP, ‘Is This Who You Are?’.
Kemp comments on the track and the message below.
“‘Like It Or Not’ is about losing people. You know when you have that friend that meets someone and seems to just disappear? That feeling. This is the third single now from the EP and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve also got some other tasty collaborations I’ve been doing with some friends coming soon too. All systems go”
How about some Welsh Pop-Punk now? You know who we’re on about! That’s the faves from Neck Deep who have released the single, ‘I Revolve (Around You)’ comeplete with the animated stylings.
This is off their upcoming record, ‘All Distortions Are Intentional’ which is set to be released on July 24th via Hopeless Records.
Ben Barlow (Vocals) has said:
“‘I Revolve (Around You)’ is a song about love on a planetary scale. It is one big metaphor, comparing love to the movement of the planets. Picturing love on that scale really makes everything else seem small and insignificant. The song comes at a point of epiphany on the record- the realisation that despite life’s trials and tribulations, love conquers all.
Musically it’s hard hitting and impactful, and actually features one of my favourite ever sections in a Neck Deep song where I got to channel my inner Tom Delonge, which for a song about space I feel is pretty fitting! It’s the first time we’ve done a full animated video and we’re so stoked on how it came out, the amazing team at Remembers in France did a beautiful job embodying the feeling of the lyrics.”
Checking into Japan for the next pick in the form of Man With A Mission. They have ‘Rock Kingdom’ for the world which is one of the new tracks from their recent greatest hits record, ‘Man With A “Best” Mission’.
The video features Tomoyasu Hotei, whom for those if you don’t know, is a legendary guitarist and he filmed his appearance from his London home who’ve said the following on the track.
“Man With A Mission and I got to collaborate on my song (‘Give It To The Universe’), and we got along so well they asked me in return to collaborate on one of their songs. I’m super excited that the song turned out to be a very powerful track! It was lonely filming the video on my own, but hopefully I’ll get to rock out with the wolves very soon!”
Moving to the band ides now. We’re eaergerly awaiting their upcoming third record, ‘Ultra Mono’, set to be released on September 25th 2020 via Partisan Records.
Frontman Joe Talbot says:
“‘A Hymn’ is a hymn that rejoices in the sinister flesh-eating virus of the pedestrian. It sings the tune of normal’s teeth sinking into your neck as you sleep stood up with your eyes open. Amen.”
Taking to Sacramento for the penultimate pick in the form of Dance Gavin Dance. They have an animated video for ‘One In A Million’, the latest cut off their recently released ‘Afterburner’ EP which sees the bull character off their album release living a stressful work life who’s then transported intot the 2D world.
And now for our final pick in the week’s video, we have the enigmatic, larger than life and utterly fantastic Yungblud.
He’s been low on the radar for the last few weeks in preparation for the first release single ‘Weird’ a few months ago. The video for the latest cut ‘Strawberry Lipstick’ is weird, wonderful and fits right into that Yungblud spectrum. Enjoy!
And that’s it for another week of a countdown of the best singles out in the world in the last week. Be sure to check back next-time for another round of great music videos. If you have any suggestions for me to check out, be sure to send an email or message us via the socials on Facebook or Twitter!
Hello everyone and welcome back! It’s time for another week of the best singles that have recently been released, all in good order of epicness. I’ve tried to make sure that none of these overlap with the Music Videos Roundup post which should have gone live in addition to this post as well so when you’re done be sure to head over to have a read of that!
I hope everyone is doing well in lockdown and hope you’re enjoying these posts so you can find (if any) some good new music to listen to!
And lastly, before we get into all the music, I have to say this, I wanted to change the name very quickly and I know I’ve just referred to this as the singles post but I wanted to include this as in all tracks so non-singles, (mainly because sometimes artists don’t release tracks as singles but as B-sides and covers etc. So we’re cool yeah?
Let’s get things started!
First up this week is Bronnie. Following on from the latest single, ‘Over You’, the Singer/Songwriter from the Pop Punk side of things has shared her latest effort, ‘Where I Want To Be’. Just in case you don’t know, this isn’t part of her latest EP, ‘Dream Or Nightmare’, which is out right now.
Seconds up are the folks over in Sleep On It where they’re doing as much s possible to spread the simple message of the current COVID-19 situation in that it is, ‘Stay At Home.
The band’s latest record, ‘Pride & Disaster’ is out right now via Rude Records / Equal Vision Records.
Next, we’re in Philadelipa for the release of PHNTMS new single, ‘Towers’.
On the track, Adam Jessamine has said:
“The track is all about expectations. We are all force-fed dreams of great jobs, nice houses, new cars and a perfect life. We each have our own definition of “perfect” revolving these things. When things get hard, if you aren’t happy with yourself and the situation your in, no one can change that but you. At the end of the day, as humans, our expectations are the reason why we feel disappointment. Having your own personal goals is the reason you keep on pushing. ‘Towers’ is a reflection of that”.
We’re back in Yorkshire for the second to last pick of this post in the form of As Sirens Fall. The band supported Sumo Cyco at the back end of 2019 and has been gaining traction for the last few months now.
Their latest track, ‘Puppy Squad’, was released today where their vocalist Mikey Lord has said:
“This is a song about escaping toxic relationships, be they romantic or otherwise. For a very long time, I felt trapped with manipulative, agenda-driven people who made me feel like a sidekick – like I was small and worthless. It was dressed up as love, but it was all fake. Nothing I did was ever good enough. Who I was didn’t feel good enough. My world felt so small and as if at any minute everything was going to fall apart around me. I felt like I had lost touch entirely with who I am. I had to fight really hard to get away from that and to get back to me, and I LOVED the idea that as small as they made me feel I could still fight back – a tiny, adorable little dog baring his teeth and taking back control”.
The track was produced and mixed by Neil Kennedy who has previously worked with Creeper, Boston Manor and Milk Teeth in the past.
And for the last pick of the singles this week we have the phenomenal men who’ve come back from the brink who can only be The Ghost Inside. This is off their new self-titled record, which is set to be released on June 5th 2020 via Epitaph Records and will be the first release since their bus accident in 2015.
“Almost all TGI songs take the listener on a journey from dark to light or from despair to hope,” says bassist Jim Riley.
“On this record, we made a conscious effort to let individual songs explore different emotions we’ve been experiencing and not force them to have a positive turn. We feel like the album as a whole will give you that hopeful feeling, even though a song like ‘Pressure Point; might not do that by itself.
“Instead, we embraced being pissed off and let it pour out through some of the most aggressive and pointed lyrics we’ve ever had. We try to avoid cursing in our songs but sometimes you’re just so fed up that nothing less than a big loud fuck will get the job done.“
And that’s it for another week of a countdown of the best singles out in the world in the last week. Be sure to check back next week for another round of great singles. If you have any suggestions for me to check out, be sure to send an email or message us via the socials on Facebook or Twitter!

On the track, the band have said: “We’ve been constantly on the road, grinding and working tirelessly to bring our music to new places and new ears and this track is the culmination of all the blood and sweat, the good, the bad and the sacrifices we’ve made in the last two years to get to this point. We really hope you enjoy it because this would not be possible without you- our supporters and believers. This one is for all of us!”
To Yorkshire! For our penultimate video, we have the latest signee to Stay Sick Recordings and they have the perfect celebration in the form of their video for ‘Good For Nothing’. The track is expected to feature on the band’s upcoming and yet-to-be-titled record.

Now, heavy heroes Machine Head have dropped a video for their new single ‘Catharsis’, the title track of the upcoming studio release which focuses on Butoh. It’s a Japanese form of expressive dance which was born out of the nuclear bombings.
Remember Luke Holland? The drummer who used to be in The Word Alive? Well, he’s back! This is his new band Heavy Eyes and their debut music video for ‘Bad’.
Now, our attention shifts to Liverpudlian Singer/Songwriter Bronnie with her new single’Danced With The Devil’ for which she’s partnered up with the Philadelphia based mental health organization, Buddy Project. And lastly, this group hails from Thornaby in the UK. For this, they “George Lucas’ed” it “and just updated our old video with a fee bits of special effects and new clips and a new none demo version of the song”. Also, “Han shot first.”
It’s off their new album, “The Big Try” and is available via Spotify and their Bandcamp page.
