There’s a virtual in store coming! #LoveRecordStores
It’s going to be a 24 hour event which is set to take place on the 20th June 2020 to raise awareness of the challenges currently being faced by record stores and will have performances, DJ Sets as well as special vinyl releases.
Tim Burgess, Temples, Mystery Jets, Ren Harvieu, Circa Waves and more are taking part in the event.

Creeper, Palaye Royale, Cheap Cuts and more are among the names added to the Homeschool Festival.
The online event is set to take play over the May bank holiday weekend, 8th – 10th May 2020 on homeschoolfest.com
New acts added to the line-up are Palaye Royale, Dream Nails, Best Ex, Talk Show, Creeper, We Are Scientists and more.
This adds to an already stacked bill which includes SWMRS, Boston Manor, Milk Teeth, The Amazons, Circa Waves, Jamie Lenman, Bloxx and more.
Homeschool Festival is reading awareness of the life saving work of the frontline medical staff and volunteers in the UK, encouraging donations to the NHS Charitites Together Covid-19 Urgent Appeal over the weekend.

Everyone loves some free beer, right? Well, Circa Waves are opening up a pop-up pub!
The reason? To help people escape the most boring and dull scary thing to plague the UK ever. Of course, I’m talking about Brexit.
The band are hosting a locking in where they’ll also be DJing alongside Theo Ellis (Wolf Alice) and Alex Trimble (Two Door Cinema Club).
On the event, the band have said:
“We’re all bored the doom and gloom of Brexit, so our plan is to go to the pub and wait for it all to blow over. Actually, the plan is to take over an entire pub, filled with people, play some pool, pull some pints, toast the upcoming release of our new record and just forget about everything else.”
Attendees will also be able to consume Circa Waves very own custom beer, with a limited edition signed album posters which are on offer.

They’re doing well in the UK Album chart, debuting at #11. Although, that hasn’t stopped the band doing a new version of a track. This is namely Pvris’s Lynn Gunn lending her vocals to the track Fire That Burns. She bursts in around the 1.30 mark so what are you waiting for?
