My Chemical Romance’s Eden Sessions 2021 Show Has Been Postponed

My Chemical Romance have announced they have been forced to cancel their first UK appearance since reuniting after Eden Sessions announced that all 2021 shows have been postponed.

With the easing of lockdown restrictions in the UK not allowing large scale events to come into play until at least June 21st 2021, My Chemical Romance‘s Eden Sessions show (which was scheduled to take place on June 15th 2021) has been forced to reschedule to a later date.

A festival spokesperson has said:

“The Eden Sessions series of concerts planned for June and July of this year (2021) will not take place, the Eden Project announced today.

Regrettably the uncertainties around staging the series due to the impacts of the pandemic and restrictions on outdoor audiences mean that the summer Sessions have had to be postponed.

We are working to reschedule the shows. When new dates are confirmed, the Eden Project will contact existing ticket-purchasers with details. Original tickets will remain valid for any show that is rescheduled.

We share the disappointment of ticket-purchasers but we are sure you will understand why the Sessions cannot go ahead this summer.

We send our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding so far and while we work to reschedule the concerts.

Thanks for your support of the Eden Sessions.”

My Chemical Romance’s Eden Sessions Show Has Been Cancelled

My Chemical Romance’s Eden Sessions show in Cornwall has been postponed due to the global Coronavirus Pandemic.

The band were set to play the event on June 16th 2020.

The organisers of The Eden Sessions will be approaching each artist’s representatives to see if they can still play the event in 2021. If they cannot, refunds will be available.

A statement from the event can be read here:

“Organisers have been closely assessing the impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic and decided that to ensure the safety and wellbeing of concert-goers, artists, crews, Eden Sessions staff and supporting teams, the Sessions could not go ahead this year.

When shows are rescheduled and dates confirmed, the Eden Project will contact all existing ticketholders with details. Original tickets will remain valid for any show that is rescheduled.

We would like to assure all ticketholders that we share their disappointment but we are sure they will understand why the Sessions cannot go ahead this summer.

We send our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding while we have worked through these unprecedented times to reach this decision. The good news is that the Eden Sessions will be back in the summer of 2021. We are working hard to reschedule artists booked for 2020 to play next year.

To everyone who was looking forward to this year’s Sessions and to all past and future concert-goers we say thanks so much for supporting the Eden Sessions.

We send our very best wishes to all and look forward to welcoming everyone back to what promises be an unforgettable season in the summer of 2021.”
