Faith No More Announce Rescheduled Dates For EU Tour

They join the very long list of acts who have had to postpone their 2020 tours due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has devastated the entertainment industry but now, Faith No More have announced their rescheduled dates of Europe for Summer 2021.

The band have announced the dates which will be taking place in the UK, Germany, Norway, Switzerland and the Netherlands next summer.

In addition to these dates, the band have launched a fundraiser for their crew, who’ve been hit hard by the tour postponements and cancellations.

As well as announcing these new dates, Faith No More have launched a fundraiser for their crew, who – like so many others – have been hit hard by tour postponements and cancellations.

“There’s been plenty of attention about the collapse of the concert industry, how it has been impacting musicians, artists, agents… but very little coverage has focused on the impact it’s made on a crucial element of live music and touring: the crew,” explains Bill Gould.

“Without a band’s crew, the show does not go on; yet, in light of the recent postponements, they have been left with few options to support themselves, or their families. And speaking of families, the band that you know as Faith No More is more than the five musicians you see on stage. It is a larger family, an ecosystem that includes backline, a production manager, lighting, sound and tour management. We had an entire summer of touring booked – and now, as a result of this pandemic, all of our crew have been put into a seriously vulnerable financial position. We have been working with these folks for years, and we feel very close to them. Since shows are not an option, we are trying to do what we can to offset this unfortunate turn of events with a special merch sale.”

Wage War Cancel UK/EU Tour

Another tour bites the dust.

Tours and festivals are continuing to be cancelled left, right and centre due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and Wage War are the latest band to be doing so.

The band confirmed the cancellation of the tour on their social media channels, issuing a statement and their intent to reschedule the postponed dates.

“As you may have seen, our scheduled European festivals are getting cancelled due to COVID-19. Because of this and the uncertainty with when this pandemic will subside and when touring will be safe again, we will be postponing the dates and are doing our best to reschedule them. If you have already purchased a ticket, please hold on to them if you can, as they will still be valid for the rescheduled dates. We hate that we have to do this and hope to have news and be back playing shows with you as soon as possible. Stay safe.”

As mentioned, ticket holders are encouraged to keep their tickets which will be honoured at the TBC rescheduled dates.

More details will be confirmed as they’re announced.
