American Teeth Announce Debut Record, ‘We Should Be Having Fun’

FEARLESS RECORDS recording artist AMERICAN TEETH has announced the debut album We Should Be Having FunThe release arrives 29th October via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

AMERICAN TEETH has shared the new track “Kickflip,” an ode to
never giving up… of sorts. Listen via your preferred streaming service.

“‘Kickflip’ gives me energy and also makes me want to cry,” says AMERICAN TEETH. “That is the energy I had when [producer] Colin [Brittain] and I were making the track. I was in a low, and I was looking for things to do to help me get out of the rut I was in post-breakup. I started skating every night around the park in my neighborhood. I was determined to learn to skate, and everything was shut down due to the pandemic. Everything felt vacant. All of the basketball hoops were stripped of their nets so people wouldn’t play. I felt so much frustration — like we were collectively being told we can’t gather together and can’t have fun. I felt like everyone was feeling this emptiness and decided to write ‘Kickflip’ as a way to project a positive outcome despite being in a rough mental state. ‘We’re still messed up, but we’re all okay.”

He finishes, “I still haven’t nailed a kickflip, but I’m trying.”

AMERICAN TEETH is the sonic alter ego of Elijah Noll, who collaborates alongside producer Colin Brittain (All Time Low, A Day To Remember, ONE OK ROCK, Papa Roach, Sueco) on the songs. Hailing from Portland, Maine but currently based in Los Angeles, he has released a handful of singles across DSPs, which have tallied over two million streams thus far in an impressive feat for such a nascent artist. He was recently named one of Alternative Press‘ 100 Artists You Need to Know.

AMERICAN TEETH/Elijah is literally a cyborg — he has a mechanical heart valve, which was installed when he was a teenager to replace a faulty valve with which he was born. His music is much the same — fusing organic sounds and shimmering synths. He recently dropped the videos for “Tongue” and “SICK,” the later of which features Phem and DE’WAYNE and it’s a bop with a deeper meaning! Watch the video, which is a wild ride including skateboarding, silly string, action figures, and more, here. You can also check out the double single, which features “Fix You” and “E-Girl.” It’s available here. The cinematic video for “Fix You” depicted a modern love story and unfolded like a mini movie. The Plot In You Release New Track, Enemy’

Ohio quartet The Plot In You have shared the visualiser for the new song ‘Enemy.’ The moody and slow-burning track is rich with both sonic textures and lyrical layers. Watch + listen here.

“‘Enemy,’ like a lot of songs on ‘Swan Song’, is a meditation on love,” explains Tewers. “It’s about exposing self-realisations on ego, resentment, and shortcomings. Ultimately, it’s about coming to grim conclusions.”

The track appears on the band’s forthcoming fifth album ‘Swan Song’, out 17 September via Fearless Records.

Check out the video for the track, ‘Enemy’ below.

After racking up over 100 million streams and receiving praise from BillboardRock SoundAlternative Press, and more, The Plot In You have crafted an album that addresses the end of various things and situations in life. It was a way for the members to expunge some negative things from their lives through their art. With this record, the band stared down years of negativity, soured friendships, disappointment, and mistakes and catalysed those experiences into hammering distortion, towering melodies, epic production, and unapologetically cathartic lyrics. It’s an album that their fans and beyond will intimately and instantly relate to.

Wage War Release Punishing New Single

Florida’s Wage Wage ave just dropped the video for the song “Surrounded.”

The song will appear on the fifth anniversary vinyl edition of the Blueprints, which was the band’s debut record. It was released by Fearless Records on November 27, 2015.

“Surrounded” is a previously unreleased track from Blueprints. The footage that comprises the video was culled from personal clips from the 212 shows the band played in 13 countries while supporting the record.

“To celebrate the five-year anniversary of its release, we’re excited to put out an unreleased track from our debut album Blueprints,” shares Wage War. “‘Surrounded’ is a song that easily could have made the record, but never found its place. Over the last five years we’ve grown together — as musicians and individuals. The release of ‘Surrounded’ has been a great time to reflect on where our careers started and a chance for some perspective.”

The visual truly captures Wage War in their element — on stage and giving their all while living life on the road and converting those who see them into fans.

Blueprints was critically celebrated upon release, with Loud & Heavy proclaiming that it “[hit] like a sledgehammer on a wall… crushing everything in its path.” Metal Injection opined that it “laid the groundwork” for where the band is today. Ice Nine Kills Announce New Live Record, ‘I Heard They KILL Live’

Horror inspired metalcore band Ice Nine Kills have announced the details of their debut live record, ‘I Heard They KILL Live’.

It’s set to be released on October 30th 2020 via Fearless records where the record captures the band’s performance at a sold out show at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts which took place back on November 30th 2019.

Frontman Spencer Charnas says:

“The Worcester Palladium holds a very special place in the heart of INK’s history. On September 22nd, 2000, I attended a Goldfinger/Mest concert there that changed the course of my life. I knew after that incredibly high-energy show that I wanted to dedicate my life to writing and performing my own music. One year later, INK’s first show would take place on the very same stage at a battle of the bands that we did not win. The concert is pictured in this album insert. 18 years later we sold out the very same 3,000 capacity venue and recorded this live album there—a full circle moment that I will never forget. This album is dedicated to the INK psychos who allow us to make murder and mayhem an actual career.”

Bert Poncet (vocals) shared a statement during the broadcast, saying they’re “currently and actively” working on new music.

“I know we’ve been silent for a while now, but, first of all, I would like to disprove rumours that the band broke up or whatever, because we never did, so that’s one thing. Also, I would like to thank our fans for sticking around. We’re very lucky and very proud to have such a great supportive community of fans. That’s truly amazing, guys, so thank you, thank you for that. The truth is, we miss playing shows and I am very sad we had to cancel our participation in the few festivals we had planned this year, because of the virus obviously, but I promise we will make up for that.

Also, I have big news, and I am incredibly excited to share with you that we are currently and actively working on new material that will probably be released later this year. Mark my words, guys, it’s going to be huge, so stay tuned.”
