State Champs upcoming record is right around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
The band have posted an image of the record’s tracklist with the titles crossed out, apart from their recent singles ‘Outta My Head’ and ‘Just Sound’.
But more than that, there’s some huge guest vocals on that upcoming record!
Neck Deep’s Ben Barlow, Against The Current’s Chrissy Costanza, Four Year Strong and country star Mitchell Tenpenny are all set to lend their voices to State Champs upcoming release.
Slam Dunk France has announced that the 2020 festival will no longer be taking place.
The France iteration of Slam Dunk Festival was set to be the debut edition, which would’ve taken place on May 30th 2020.
The lineup was set to have While She Sleeps, We Came As Romans, Trash Boat, Four Year Strong, Roam, Landmvrks, Grayscale and Chunk! No Captain Chunk.
The full statement can be read below:
“Three months ago, we were more than happy to share with you the arrival of the first edition of the Slam Dunk Festival in France, which was to be a huge celebration for all lovers of Alternative Rock.
but, as you know, because of the COVID-19 epidemic, all plans have been turned upside down. We had worked and moved forward on a postponement period later in 2020, which is why this press release was delayed, but it now appears too uncertain in many aspects.
It is regret that we must therefore announce that the first edition of Slam Dunk Festival France will ultimately not be able to take place in 2020, on the 30th May as initially planned, nor later in the year.
it was not a decision that was easy to make, but it was, without a doubt, the best that had to be made, for the benefit off all.
we are sincerely sorry for those who had planned their coming to Paris during this period. Refunds for tickets will soon be possible at points of purchase.
Be assured that we will come back stronger in 2021 to properly celebrate this first edition of the incredible Slam Dunk Festival in France. This is only a postponement.
We well you more as soon as possible on this page, get ready and most importantly, take care of yourself.
With the festival just two months away, anticipation is going up for the 2018 festival, the organisers will be close to revealing who is playing what stages. Now though, the Slam Dunk Acoustic Stage has been revealed. Playing are as follows:
Speak Low If You Speak Love
Four Year Strong Presents: Some Of You Will Like This, Some Of You Won’t
Rob Lynch
Luke Rainsford
PVMNTS
Selfish Things
Cave Town
It’s back! The first of the music video countdown posts in a long while. So why haven’t I posted one of these in a while? The bottom line is that I’ve been so busy! But now the workload has gone down a bit, I’m back and ready to go!
So, up first is the band known as Hercules Morse. They’re from Southampton and are just about ready to go on their debut full-length effort. It’s not out for a while but here’s the video for their lead single, ‘Everything Is Great’.
Next up are the lads from Four Year Strong. This is being released ahead of their upcoming US tour as the band have revealed a new video for the track ‘Nice To Know. It’s a little different from the usual material but enjoyable all the same. Watch it below.
Now we go to France. This is from the band Death Engine as the band are gearing up for the release of their second record, ‘Place Noire’ in April. Until then, here’s Modern Life. Check it out below.
We’re now moving across the pond to Great Grandpa for a track off their debut record, ‘Plastic Cough’, released last year via Double Double Whammy. This post, however, is concerning their newest video for ‘Teen Challenge’ which can be seen below!
Just coming off their UK headline tour, Hollywood Undead have released a new video to accompany the track for ‘Your Life’. It’s the bands latest single from their newest record ‘V’. Your Life can be viewed below.
Still coming off strong from his very own all-dayer, Lenmaina in London, Jamie Lenman hasn’t stopped so far this year as he is currently on his headline tour of the UK! While he’s on that, we can all see what he’s made of in the new video for his track, ‘Bodypopping’ below.
Now having the name for the new face of Emo is a lot to carry on his shoulders but by the looks of things, there’s no pressure as Nothing, Nowhere has dropped the video for REM.
If you were lucky to see Paramore’s Tour Three in the UK then you had a great time! For those who didn’t then their newest video for ‘Rose-Colored Boy’ will have to do as it’s full of Paramore goodness.
We’re going to return to the heavier side now. Casey drop their upcoming record ‘Where I Go When I Am Sleeping’ soon and now, we’ve had a glimpse of what else is coming to the table. Here the video for Phosphenes.
I’ve saved the best for last. This has to be one of my favourite tracks as well as videos at the moment. It’s the hard-hitting and female fronted band known as Dream State who hail from South Wales. They’re about to head out on their headlining UK this month and they’ve released their first music since signing to the label, UNFD. This is their newest video for ‘In This Hell’.
And that’s it for another week of music videos. Plenty of videos to view for one week. Until next week for another round of it all again.
Issues and Four Year Strong have been added to Good Charlotte’s EU tour!
They’ll be joining Pierce the Veil as well as Sleeping With Sirens when they hit venues all over Europe. Just think what that kind of show will be like. Non-stop fun, non-stop music and non-stop headbanging!
If I can, I will get myself to the show. The only UK show, however, is the massive Download Festival at Donnington Park, England.
