You can read the full statement below.
“There are times in life when we all reflect and think about where we’ve come from and where we are now. It’s not until you’re asked to describe that journey that you fully realise the impact something has had on your life. A group of friends writing music for fun; soon outgrown by something bigger than the idea itself.
We’ve lived and breathed every moment in the past 4 years of this band with each other, our families and friends, our management, our label, our booking agents, our fans – everyone. You have all played an integral part to what we started here, allowing us to achieve things we could have only have dreamed of doing when starting out that will live long in our memory. To say we’re grateful to have been able to do this is a huge understatement and one that words cannot fully justify.
However, it is time for the four of us to explore a different chapter in our lives, one that we hope can give us moments we can reflect on with fond memories like this one has. Homebound is there for you all even after we’re gone and something that we hope you can continue to enjoy and find solace from in our music.”
The band have also released one final track, ‘Note To Self’ as a parting gift for their fans.
