Alex Gaskarth & Jack Barakat (All Time Low) Are Launching New Variety Show

For those who remember this, Alex Gaskath and Jack Barakat created a podcast a few years ago called Full Frontal. Here they talked about everything from music to films and everything in between.

Now, a few years later, they have conceptualised a brand new project that lives in the same realm of things. Although this time, it’s much more than a podcast.

It’s a live show which is going to be called ‘Crash Test Live’ so we can only imagine what’s going to be kicking off here.

The first episode is going live this coming friday (29th May).

Jack Barakat’s WHOHURTYOU Sign With Fueled By Ramen, Release Debut Music Video

This week, All Time Low guitarist Jack Barakat released the very first single of his brand new side project WhoHurtYou, which more announcements being followed.

WhoHurtyou announced they’ve signed to Parlophone in the UK, as well as Fueled By Ramen representing them in the rest of the world.

“A lot of people think of me as All Time Low’s comic relief, but everyone has their ups and downs, and last year was really tough for me”. “I handled my first big breakup in all of the wrong ways and ended up in therapy after some close friends encouraged me to seek help. Kevin had gone through a similar rough patch and shared with me that songwriting really helped him through it.”

“I was already on the other side of it, so I had a perspective to share. My experience in therapy taught me how powerful of a tool songwriting can be, so I invited Jack to come hang at the studio,” added collaborator Kevin Fisher. “We want to send the message that therapy is something no one should be ashamed of. If these songs helped us so much, maybe they could help other people.”

This week, Jack Barakat (All Time Low) has been teasing the launch of his side project WhoHurtYou, where he will release the debut single this Friday.

On the start of the side project, Jack has opened up on the release.

It’s just not the truth. And it’s not real. And everyone has their ups and downs, and I’ve never really put mine out there.

“Last year was a really tough year for me. I was going through my first big breakup and handled it all the wrong ways, and I was doing the wrong things. In those moments, I had close friends of mine urge me to see a therapist and turn my life around.”

All Time Low Back In 2020, Jack Barakat Working On Side Project

The question has been on everyone’s lips as of late; just when will All Time Low be back with new music?

speaking to KROQ at Coachella recently, Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat said: “Absolutely – We’re taking a little break, but hopefully by next year we’re going to be ready to go again.”

Then Jack said: “Alex is doing Simple Creatures, and I’m working on a little somethin’ somethin’.”

Jack continued “But the thing is, no matter what, All Time Low loves touring. Alex wants to do his thing, but I’m gonna make him come back. The thing is I was like ‘Alex I want to take the year off, you go do Simple Creatures, I want a break’ and he was like ‘let’s get back in the Fall’ and I’m like dude no – I want to sleep,” to which Alex replied “I’m a work horse! I like to work!”

No word yet on what the side project is but I’m sure all will be revealed in due time.

All Time Low are headlining this year’s Slam Dunk Festival which will take place on May 25 in Leeds and May 26 in Hatfield.
