Lower Than Atlantis’s Mike Duce Launches Record Label, Releasing Solo EP

Things might have wrapped up for Lower Than Atlantis but since that, frontman Mike Duce has revealed he’s launching his own music label! It’s called Headache Inc. where he shared the news as he posted a photo of himself at The Orchard, a global music distribution company.

Adding to this, Duce has announced he’ll be releasing his Solo EP, ‘Food For Thwart’. March 27th 2020 will mark the release of his single, ‘Broke’.

Check out the announcement below.

“YO! Wassup everyone! Hope you’re all good. So, basically… the reason I’ve been quiet for a minute is because – I NOW HAVE MY OWN FUCKING RECORD LABEL!!! Here’s a photo of me signing the contract with the distributor earlier on today. The first release on headache inc. will be my new single “BROKE” (March 27) from my debut EP “Food For Thwart”. Thank you all for your unwavering support so far – I literally would not have been able to do it without you x”

Lower Than Atlantis Announce Breakup, Final Dates In 2019

Lower Than Atlantis have announced their breakup after 12 years as a band. In a lengthy statement, they’re announced a few farewell dates as well as their final single.

These are the dates.

May 2019

9th – Manchester Academy

10th – Birmingham O2 Academy

11th – London Brixton Academy

You can read their statement in full below:

“After much deliberation, we’ve heavy heartedly decided to take a break from the band. It wasn’t an easy decision to make but we feel that it’s definitely the right one and one we hope everyone can learn to accept and respect. We’ve had an absolutely unimaginable 11 years making and playing music for people who have completely changed our lives for the better and we honestly can’t thank you enough for that. But we feel that we’d be doing all of you a disservice continuing this way. We want to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to every single one of you for the unfaltering support we’ve received over the duration of our musical lives so far. We feel SO fucking privileged, honoured and lucky that we were able to achieve the things we have over the years. We managed to surpass all expectations and live beyond our wildest dreams …and it’s all thanks to the fans of this band. So for that – thank you.

We all have very exciting new projects in the works that we can’t wait to share with you. We’re also going to be playing the best shows we ever have which are planned for May and a song that was recorded, produced and mixed by Mike and Ben from the band to coincide with them.

Let’s give LTA the send off she deserves! I wouldn’t even know where to begin explaining just how truly grateful we are so we’ll just have to show you on stage.

Lower Than Atlantis

2007 – Forever”

Music Video’s 27/03/18

Hey everyone, apologies that this post is coming late at the moment. Things are crazy on my course and everything in between at the moment so I haven’t had the time to do this post but it’s here now. Let’s get the music posts going but first, if you’re new, the list is ten of the best recently released music video’s from around the world and it ranges from the Pop-Punk, Rock, Metal, Heavy genres so first up is I Don’t Know How But They Found Me. It’s the creation of Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman’s delight of a project and here is their latest video.

Now, this next video is from Best Ex. Formally known as Candy Hearts, the band changed their name but still going in that rocking direction for the music. Here is their latest video for Jellyfish.

Back in January, Modern Error were the ones to keep an eye on and with Blackout Poetry their first offering for music in 2018, it’s evident that this is true.

Next, this band are due to set off on a huge 22 date headline tour of the UK which is rumoured to end the cycle of their sixth record, ‘Safe In Sound’ and ahead of this trek, dropped a video for ‘I Would’. IT showcases achieved footage of the band’s time on the road since dropping their latest album.

The next band in question The Bunny The Bear released their latest record less than a year ago but now they’re working on the follow up at the moment. For now, though, we do have their lead single, ‘Let Go’. It’s also the first to feature their new vocalist, known only for now as The Bear replacing Joseph Garcia who stepped down from vocal duties last year.

Up And Comers from Birmingham, UK are Layover. They’ve just recently dropped a video for the track ‘Slumber’ of their soon to be released EP, ‘Your Laughter Never Leaves’.

Currently touring off his tenth studio record, Say10 and with an upcoming co-headline run of shows with Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson has now released a video for the track, ‘Tattooed In Reverse’.

Next, is Queens Of The Stone Age. They’re preparing for their biggest UK to date this summer at Finsbury Park but until then, they have released the video for ‘Head Like A Haunted House’. It’s taken from their seventh record, ‘Villains’ which was released last year.

Going to the metalcore genre for the penultimate video is the band Shields. They’re gearing up to drop their full-length record ‘Life In Exile’, next month and ahead of its release they’ve released a video for it’s second single, ‘Black Dog’.

They’ve dedicated the track and video to George Christie, the band’s guitarist who tragically took his own life earlier this year.

Now here we are at the last video. They only released their brand new EP ‘All The Things I Never Said’ a few weeks ago and now Pale Waves have dropped a brand new video for their stunning track, ‘Heavenly’.

And that’s it for another round of music videos. I am doing my best to keep up with these posts but life sometimes just gets in the way and you have to prioritise things in your life. I am going to continue this but the next music video post will be coming back to the usual Friday upload from next week!
