Napoleon Share New Single ‘I Better Run’

Since forming in 2018, alt-punk four-piece Napoleon has been attracting attention from fans and media alike within their local Toronto scene. In early 2020, the band signed onto new management from now frequent producer Scott Middleton of Cancer Bats

Always excited to collaborate with other Canadian artists, their upcoming Enemy Within EP (set for release on June 11th) features guest vocalist spots from Corbin Giroux of Rarity and Shane Told of Silverstein. The latter is featured on the new single, “I Better Run.”

Raw, energetic, and the band’s heaviest release to date, the track has also been paired with a music video. Stream “I Better Run” via your preferred platform now.

Watch the official visuals on YOUTUBE, as well.

Having Shane sing on the song, and perform in the music video was truly an incredible experience. Silverstein is a very important band to us, and Napoleon definitely would not be the same band we are without them, so just having the experience of collaborating and becoming peers with someone who has been a big inspiration on us was absolutely incredible, and is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Napoleon

We got to explore the world and share our music with as many people as possible and we’ll look back on the memories with great fondness. This is 100% down to you guys. You have supported us through everything and for that we are incredibly thankful and it will always mean the world to us. Speaking on the track, they have said: “After having experiences with people we love struggling to stay alive, we believe the harder the battle, the less one is able to ask for help. We wanted to write a song about how important and necessary each person is, especially these days. We need numbers now more than ever to fight the good fight.”

And we’re jetting to Philadelphia for mewithoutYou. They don’t enjoy sticking to one definitive genre and often expand on what makes them so unique. And that’s just the case for their video for ‘Another Head For Hydra.
