Alt-Punk quartet Napoleon have shared a video for their track ‘Can’t Forget’.
On the release of their new EP, they say:
We went into writing Enemy Within, our new EP, with the goal of writing massive sounding songs that grip you immediately and are so catchy that they keep you coming back to listen.
Raw, fun, and simple, this group of songs was shaped by our no-nonsense producer, Scott Middleton, who always pushes us to give the best possible performance, and includes guest appearances by Shane Told of Silverstein, and Corbin Giroux of Rarity.
Enemy Within includes “Can’t Forget,” a party song which was inspired by the style of Billy Talent, something a little brighter than the rest of the album. This is the type of track that you can come to a show and sing along at the top of your lungs to, which is something to be excited for once live music returns.
Since forming in 2018, alt-punk four-piece Napoleon has been attracting attention from fans and media alike within their local Toronto scene. In early 2020, the band signed onto new management from now frequent producer Scott Middleton of Cancer Bats.
Always excited to collaborate with other Canadian artists, their upcoming Enemy Within EP (set for release on June 11th) features guest vocalist spots from Corbin Giroux of Rarity andShane Told of Silverstein. The latter is featured on the new single, “I Better Run.”
Raw, energetic, and the band’s heaviest release to date, the track has also been paired with a music video. Stream “I Better Run” via your preferred platform now.
Having Shane sing on the song, and perform in the music video was truly an incredible experience. Silverstein is a very important band to us, and Napoleon definitely would not be the same band we are without them, so just having the experience of collaborating and becoming peers with someone who has been a big inspiration on us was absolutely incredible, and is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. – Napoleon

We got to explore the world and share our music with as many people as possible and we’ll look back on the memories with great fondness. This is 100% down to you guys. You have supported us through everything and for that we are incredibly thankful and it will always mean the world to us.
