Northtale Announce New Record, ‘Eternal Flame’, Release First Single ‘Only Human’

In August 2019, power metal newcomers Northtale released their successful first album Welcome To Paradise. After their debut show at Sabaton Open Air in Sweden followed by some shows in Japan, the band underwent a line-up change, and after months of auditions, their new vocalist Guilherme Hirose from Sao Paolo, Brazil was chosen. Now, after releasing several re-recorded songs from Welcome To Paradise with Guilherme on vocals, the band are proud to finally announce their new album Eternal Flame, which is set to be released on November 12th via Nuclear Blast.

Today, the band unveil the first single ‘Only Human’ – a fast-paced, anthemic tune. Check it out and download it for airplay now

Produced by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69Unisonic), the new album features 12 brand new tracks and a whole range of new influences, from thrash metal, classical citations and Brazilian traditional music, all fused into Northtale‘s own brand of melodic power metal.

Guitarist Bill Hudson comments:
“The time has come! After almost two years of hard work, a line-up change and a global pandemic, we’re very happy to tell you we’re releasing our new album, Eternal Flame. Our friends at Nuclear Blast have picked ‘Only Human‘ as the first single. A short, straight to the point power metal track packed with every element that makes up our music. Sonically, it’ll sound very familiar to the fans. Lyrically, it talks about the moment we’re living in, where power structures are starting to crumble and people are rising up to what they believe in, in search of evolution. But we also make mistakes, and that’s exactly what makes us human. We learn by trial and error and become wiser that way.
I know it sounds cliché, but this album is very superior to our debut. Also, I got some of my amazing friends to guest on it! I simply cannot wait to hear everyone’s reaction. For now, enjoy ‘Only Human‘ and we’re looking forward to meeting everyone this winter in Europe with Unleash the Archers and Striker.”

Reject The Sickness Announce New Album, ‘While Our World Dissolves’

Two years after their second album “The Weight Of Silence”, Belgium’s Reject The Sickness returns with an album so mercilessly crushing and heavy that you have to experience it to believe it. 2019’s in-between EP “The New Chapter” already indicated that Reject The Sickness were travelling on a new path towards musical maturity. With “While Our World Dissolves” this journey has been completed with astonishing results exceeding the promise of the earlier EP.

“While Our World Dissolves” is a bulldozer recording with which Reject The Sickness definitely throws off the yoke of the metalcore tag. The nine songs firmly embrace the spirit of melodic death/thrash metal.

The production for which the band signed themselves is modern yet ageless at the same time. Reject The Sickness managed to combine a stream lined sound with songs that bathe in an enhanced heaviness andimpact never before heard from this band. Even more jaw-dropping is the fact that Reject The Sickness’ trademark sense for memorable melody is preserved all the same.

So, brace yourself for Reject The Sickness’ quality attack of staccato riff-driven death/thrash. The songs work perfectly together as a unit and they all have their unique melodic signature to prevent the phantom of boredom staining the listening experience.

With “While OurWorld Dissolves”, Reject The Sickness confidently have conquered their authentic place in today’s melodic death/thrash landscape. Aficionados of Obscura, Testament, Dissection, Meshuggah, Morbid Angel, In-Quest, Gojira, Dark Angel, Pestilence and At The Gates are facing an obligatory listen and, for sure, a rewarding journey through the meanwhile unique metal vision of Reject The Sickness. Be sure to heed this call before our world dissolves!

The band is also glad to announce their 3rd single “Pillars of Hope” which is due for release this Friday the 16th . Check out the band’s socials and official website for more info!

Our Hollow, Our Home Announce New Record

UK Metalcore favourites Our Hollow, Our Home have announced the details of their upcoming third record, ‘Burn In The Flood’ and released their second single off the release, ‘Remember Me (Feat. Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake).

“We are beyond proud to announce our third full-length album, Burn In The Flood,” say the band. “Whilst there is an overarching theme of being caught or trapped within your own emotions, on this record – rather than delving into a deep constructive narrative – we wanted to focus on letting each song have its own time in the spotlight, and have each tell its own story. Every time we start writing, we push ourselves harder than ever before, and all truly believe this is our strongest collection of songs to date.

“The last year has been tough for everyone, but through all the hardships thrown at us, especially as touring musicians, we dug deep and ended up finding some of the rawest, most open and honest material we’ve ever written. This album was made entirely for our fans. They are a huge inspiration to us and this record has been brought to life by our literal blood, sweat and tears during a time where we honestly didn’t know if the world would even allow us to carry on doing what we love so dearly!

“It’s a project which documents our personal growth and the genuine struggles faced in our daily lives, and we wear our hearts on our sleeves from beginning to end.”

Burn In The Flood is set to be released on May 28th 2021 via OH, OH’s own / Hollow Music with he new track ‘Remember Me’ available to listen to now.

Opening up about the song, vocalist Connor Hallisey says, “Depression, anxiety and the suicidal thoughts are things that many of us genuinely struggle to discuss even at the best of times, and this song touches upon the divide of feelings you can experience when pushed into the darkest of places.

“We are blessed to have our good friend Ryo Kinoshita featuring on the track as we felt his voice could bring a level of aggression unmatched by any other! We’ve known the guys in Crystal Lake for a long time now, and we even managed to bring them over for one of their first UK appearances back in 2017 at our first Holloween event. It’s always been a pleasure to play and work alongside these incredibly talented individuals and having Ryo make an appearance on the track just further solidifies our friendship and respect for the group.”

Boundaries Release Debut Full Length Record

Connecticut metal upstarts, Boundaries, released their highly anticipated debut full-length, Your Receding Warmth, through the metallic hardcore bastion, Unbeaten Records. Recorded with producer Randy Leboeuf at Graphic Nature Audio, Your Receding Warmth feels like a long-awaited defining moment for Boundaries and Unbeaten Records and their spreading of ruthless metalcore over the past few years. From building a dedicated fan base over the last few years with their unhinged live performances, Boundaries found their footing with 2019’s EP My Body In Bloom, and now are out to prove exactly why they’re one of the quickest rising metalcore acts in the scene. The record finds the band taking more chances than ever while building upon their inherent ferocity, stories of bleak existence, and the knack for keeping an audience on their toes that has drawn so many people to the band. Your Receding Warmth is out now.

Below are all the record details.

EKTOMORF to Release New Album, New Single + Video, “Reborn”, Out Now!

EKTOMORF return to their musical roots and are Reborn under the sign of thrash metal after 26 years of existence. With their debut on Napalm Records, the Hungarian power machine transports the genre into a promising, modern era and sets itself free from any pigeonholes.

Since their debut, Hangok (1994), the four-piece around singer/guitarist Zoltán “Zoli” Farkas has regularly delivered new power to their devotees. Only three years after the release of their chart-breaking full-length, Fury (2018), Reborn ignites a blazing fire with its heavy sound and harsh lyrics that will burn any genre limitations to the ground. Their 15th studio album breathes the spirit of the “Big Four” – Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth – while at the same time, beginning a completely independent new chapter of EKTOMORF.

With the first single and album title track, “Reborn”EKTOMORF rings in a new era during their 25th year of existence by returning to no-frills-required, brain-searing thrash metal. The first single off the new album kicks in like a wrecking machine and takes no prisoners from the first second on!

Frontman Zoli Farkas on making Reborn:
“This album was written in some very dark times of my life. When you listen to Reborn, you can hear it in the crushing, heavy riffs as well as within the melancholic, beautiful melodies and honest lyrics. Reborn is the album I worked on for the longest period in my career, there are a lot of new ideas in the songs that EKTOMORF has never executed before, intertwined with the roots of the band’s sound. I’m very proud of it. I hope it will give you what it gives to me.”
