Finally, the UK are getting some Polaris, live and in action!
The band have announced the details of their upcoming UK tour which will be the first time playing in the UK since the release of their full length record, ‘The Death Of Me’ in 2020.
Stepson, Gravemind and Alphawolf will all be playing as their support.
Brisbane, Australia’s STEPSON released Help Me, Help Youworldwide on 26th March via SharpTone Records.
“Come With Me‘ is about the struggle of understanding both sides to a story, especially where no communication is involved,” the band explains. “It’s about being unable to fulfill expectations you’ve been set and failing to be the person they thought you were. The film clip captures one side of this story and how the subtle decline can lead to desperation.”
Brooklyn Vegan succinctly described Stepson‘s sound, stating that this high-octane punk x hardcore outfit “successfully bounces back and forth between throat-shredding hardcore and glossy emo-pop.”

Stepson were eager to release Help Me, Help You – after a turbulent 2020 and the disappointment of delaying not only their debut album but also their maiden European voyage, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we’ve all been dealing with. “We are so proud of Help Me, Help You for many different reasons, but the main focus is the diversity and range of genres and influences we have been able to capture across the 11 tracks,” the quintet explains. “We are all inspired by different musicians and artists, and to have that represented in our music is really exciting! We’d like to think that everyone — mums and dads, emos and lads — can all find at least one song they dig musically or connect to lyrically and we can’t wait to hear what everyone’s favorite songs are!”

Stepson are just about to drop their debut record ‘Help Me, Help You’ on March 26 via SharpTone Records but not before a final taste of the record is out there in the world.
It’s a beautiful constructed slice of emotionally uplifting post-hardcore ‘Who Are We’ feels as existential as it does electric.
The band had this to say about the track:
“As a band with a broad spectrum of musical influences, we really wanted to explore every sound and style that makes us who we are,” Stepson say about the track. “We were determined to create a record where every song sounded different and was a standout in its own right. ‘Who Are We?’ is our punk rock anthem and captures a more upbeat and lighthearted side to the band.
“From the chorus that gets stuck in your head after one listen to the crazy drum fills, ‘Who Are We?’ brings something new to the table whilst still remaining unapologetically Stepson.”
