Pat Kirch To Miss The Maine’s Upcoming UK / EU Tour

The Maine’s drummer Pat Kirch has announced that he won’t be joining the band on their upcoming UK / EU tour due to the arrival of his first child.

In a statement posted on social media, Pat has shared that he’s sad to miss the tour but glad he’s taking the opportunity to spend time with his family.

You can read his full statement below.

“Hello friends! It’s Pat here!! I wanted to I’ve everyone a life update before The Mirror tour kicks off.

A lot of you already know the exciting news that I and my wife are expecting our first baby this month! I couldn’t be more excited to meet her and become a dad, this means that I will be staying home during The Mirror UK / Europe so that I can be around for her birth and enjoy a little time with my family during this exciting time.

I am going to miss playing these songs for you and really going to miss being able to hang out with you guys after the shows but I know we will be back and probably with some new tunes to play for you.

I have never missed anything so it certainly will feel weird watching videos on instagram but I know the shows are going to be amazing. My great friend Andrew Strayers who I have known since I was 12 years old and plays drums in a great band called Katastro will be filling in for me.

Please give him all the love in the world for me. He is an awesome dude and would love to meet all of you guys! I can’t wait to be back with you all on the next tour and the next 50 years of The Maine. All the love in the world!!! See you guys soon.”

What Are The Maine Teasing?

Okay, hopefully, we’ll have some answers to just what The Maine are up to soon because all this teasing is driving people insane! Is it lyrics? Track titles? Let’s take a look.

First off, we know that record 7 is mastered thanks to the following tweet from Jared Monaco.

Now that’s all done, they’re starting the teasers like crazy. They’ve been posting these photos every 24 hours since Saturday. Check them out.

My guess is going to be on lyrics and if they are, I can’t wait to hear this record.

Any updates on this and announcements will be posted as they are announced.
