For the tours that never came to be, the current COVID-19 pandemic is affecting a lot of people in the music world in different ways. For bands and their crews, the inability to head out on tour has put a lot of people in difficult situations without an income.
Now, a fundraiser has been started to help artists who have had their upcoming tours cancelled.
The Tours That Never Were has been created to help independent and Underground UK-based bands and crew as well as various charities in the form of a brand new art print, t-shirt and tote bag.
Bands on the design include Lizzy Farrall, Ithaca, Palm Reader and Holding Absence and more.
All profits from the sale of the items will be split equally between the artists who’re signed up to use as they see fit with a number of them asking for their share to go to their charities of choice which includes Music Venue Trust and NHS Together to name a couple.
Here’s a look at what you’re getting.
