Thy Art Is Murder Announce UK Tour For December 2021

More tour news! Without getting too excited the prospect of getting back to gigs is becoming a hope we have for 2021. And just before Christmas 2021 we have some amazing news as Thy Art Is Murder are set to come to the UK for their largest headlining tour to date.

Malevolence, Alphawolf, King 810 and Orbit Culture are set to be the support for the tour. Now that’s a stacked lineup.

14th – O2 Institute, Birmingham

Tickets for the tour are on sale December 7th.

Thy Art Is Murder Announce Record Store Day Release

Thy Art Is Murder have revealed that they’re releasing a special CD edition of ‘The Depression Sessions’, a collaboration with Fit For An Autopsy and The Acacia Strain for Record Store Day: Black Friday.

The release is set to be made up of one original track from each band and one cover version.

The release was originally only for vinyl and sold out immediately. 2000 copies will be available on CD.

It’s time for another roundup of the latest music videos! Let’s get things kicking with Ausies┬áDeath Metal awesomeness with Thy Art Is Murder’s newest monster of a track, Puppet Master’.

Next up is legends The Darkness who showcase their talent on a track off their upcoming record, Solid Gold, set to drop October 6th. Here’s Pinewood Smile.

Another legendary group is up next. This comes from their latest album, Revolution Radio. It’s green day with Troubled Times.

CJ Returns to Thy Art Is Murder

Vocalist CJ McMahon has returned to Thy Art Is Murder.

The frontman rejoined for Australia’s Unify Gathering and there is a video of him performing which can be seen below:

They have confirmed he will appear with the band at this year’s Impericon festival.

CJ left Thy Art Is Murder in 2005, citing struggles with his finances and a desire to spend more time with his family.t

Onstage at UNIFY Gathering, he said:

“I was a drug addict, I was a broke musician, and I had some fucking issues… I got married, I did some fucking soul searching, and now I’m back to take over the world with my fucking brothers. In the celebration that is me coming back to join my brothers in world domination, I need you guys to have some fun with us.”

Impericon Festival UK will take place on April 17, 2017 at Manchester Academy. Miss May I, Being As an Ocean, In Hearts Wake and more are set to perform.
