Japanese Progressive Rockers Evraak Sign With Wormholedeath

Japanese Progressive Rock band EVRAAK signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the album “Evraak I”, due for release on November 4th, 2022.

The band speaking of the album stated: “The first album of the up-and-coming Japanese progressive rock band “Evraak” will be released via Wormholedeath worldwide! 3 songs from our EP were released in 2020 and added 3 new songs then completed 6 songs, Over an hour-long epic. Our signature tune is “Sacrifice,”, The truly heavy tune “[Saethi ]”, and The dark and dramatic tune “Stigma”. Watch out for the uncanny play of the ensemble of six musicians of different origins”

Danish Metallers Urban Primate Sign With Wormholedeath

Urban Primate is a modern and intense metal band with the ability and eagerness to implement a variety of elements from hard rock, 90’ies grunge rock, and heavy metal to deliver a solid and holistic metal experience.
They have signed a licensing deal with Wormholedeath for the reissue oftheir album Desolation, which will be re-released on July 29th, 2022.

The band speaking about the collaboration with Wormholedeath stated:
We are very excited to sign with Wormholedeath and a family of very talented bands. This is a group of very skilled and passionate people who loves music and share the same values as us. After many great conversations with the owner Carlo Belotti, we truly believe that Wormholedeath is the right place to develop our music and to form a great partnership for the future. Urban Primate was first formed in 2010 and consisted at that time of five dedicated members, who wrote and released the band’s first album “Urban Primate” in 2010. The album was the band’s first touch into the Danish Hardrock scene and made the way for a variety of gigs in Denmark. This first album was heavily inspired by bands such as Filter, Alice in chains, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo fighter, etc. The vocals and melodies always had a huge role in Urban Primates’ production and on this first full album, Benjamin Larsen drew references to vocalists like Richard Patrick, Layne Staley, and Chester Bennington. Urban Primate played several venues in Denmark from 2010 to 2012. Over the years the band changed members a few times with only Benjamin, Christian, and Jakob as ongoing members of the group.
In 2011 the band once again went to the studio to record an EP with five tracks. The EP changed the band’s focus from a softer hard-rock band to a more crunchy metal sound. The EP was more aggressive, the vocals harder, and the beats faster and more hard-hitting.

In 2012 the band split up and Urban Primate was finally shut down. Yet, in the summer of 2020, the band members felt it was time to revive Urban Primate. In the middle of the worldwide covid-19 pandemic, the band started rehearsals and shortly after released their first single, “My Terror Calling” – a song heavily inspired by 2000’s nu-metal and grunge, after eight years of silence. The band released their 2nd full-length album DESOLATION I 2021. Yet again the band’s focus had changed and the style was now even more inspired by the late 90’ies grunge combined with a more modern metal sound. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Nicklas Sonne, Sonne studios, giving the band a deeper and more modern sound to their music. 

In march 2022 Urban Primate joined forces with the Italian label WORMHOLEDEATH. A strong and dedicated partnership focused on introducing Urban Primates music worldwide.
Urban Primate is at the moment working on new songs for an upcoming album.

Scottish Heavy Metallers DVL Sign With Wormholedeath, Announce ‘Hush’ Record

Scottish Heavy Metal Band DVL have signed a worldwide deal with Wormholedeath for their album “Hush”, which is due for release on May 27th, 2022 worldwide.

Signing statement:
We are excited to announce that we have signed with WormHoleDeath Records and we look forward to working together on the release of our upcoming debut album, Hush.

About “Hush”
We’ve always had a natural attraction to the darker, more ominous sounds in music and we really leaned into that when we were writing Hush.
We wrote and demoed all the songs for over 2 and a half years before finally going to Italy and recording it with our engineer at Titans LAB Recording Studio in September 2020.
This album is like a book of short stories. Not a concept album but each song tells it’s own individual tale.
Musically we take cues from many genres and many artists but our writing is also heavily influenced by other media such as Horror film, comic books and video games.

Blinded By Hope Sign With Wormholedeath, Announce ‘We Are’ Album

Australian musician Mitch Castell’s solo project BLINDED BY HOPEhas signed a licensing deal with Wormholedeath for the album “We Are” due for release on the 18th of February 2022.

Blinded By Hope has today announced a global distribution deal with record label Wormholedeath. This partnership sees Australian alternative and progressive metal band Blinded by Hope, signing directly with Wormholedeath, marking the beginning of a four-year agreement for the release, distribution and marketing of the band’s upcoming second album “We Are”. Following the release of Blinded By Hope’s debut album “Chapter 1: Awakening” on 21 May 21, the band has been working tirelessly, forging ahead on the second album, “We Are”, to create a conceptual and cohesive collection of songs that sound like no other. Blinded By Hope’s guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer Mitch Castell says Wormholedeath were the perfect fit and that he was honoured to be side-by-side with a multitude of unique rock, metal and hardcore artists across the globe.

French Alt Metal Quartet Perseide Stream Reissue Of ‘The Only Thing

As announced previously : after already re-release some singles from the album, French alternative-rock/modern-metallers from Lyon PERSEIDE officially reissued their debut full-length effort ‘The Only Thing’ worldwide – with a brand new artwork – on CD & Digital through Wormholedeath.

After two EP released, a signing to OrageRock label, thousands of gigs across France, Europe and even in the USA, with bands like Soilwork, Betraying The Martyrs, Cancer Bats, We Butter The Bread With Butter, Protest The Hero… The story is still being written today.

In 2018, they decided to go into the studio again to record their debut album, ‘The Only Thing’, released in 2020. Then, the band continues to push forward and to work on new material in order to released various single in 2021.

Austrian Death/Thrash metal act CYROX have signed a licensing deal with Wormholedeath for the release of their album “Beyond Control”.

The music of Cyrox can roughly be described as a mixture between Death and Thrash Metal, whereby they try to fit into no genre specifically.The influences range from Rock to Black Metal.
