Fever 333 have dropped the video for their title track of their 2020 EP, ‘Wrong Generation’.
In addition to the pulsating and fantastic track, Blink 182 drumming legend Travis Barker joins Jason Butler and co where Butler tells Revolver:
“We were hoping to make a video that offered a similar energy and excitement to the live element of this FEVER 333 project. I also wanted to give a nod to Song 2, one of the coolest music videos ever made. Put these vibes together and we ended up with this.”
I wasn’t originally planning on writing a review but this is such a powerhouse of a track and I can’t believe Fever 333’s turnaround for material where this is an anthem for this generation right now.
It’s everything you want from Fever, huge sounding lyrics on current events by Jason Butler and the pulsating sound to match that you can’t wait to see live. But more than this, the track is a call to arms reminding us that we are the change we want to see in the world.
It’s not very often that everything comes together so beautifully in a band but when it does, it pulsates together something only you think that’s been in your dreams. Fever 333 continue to deliver their thrashing genre bending and rule breaking narrative which is unparalleled in the music world. Continuing from the recent release of their recent ‘Wrong Generation’ EP, this is essential listening for anyone looking to expand their listening habits but ultimately, Fever 333 are true artists and should they continue to deliver material such as this (and I have no doubt in my mind that they will) then they will be the most important band in a generation because they encapsulate just what we need right now.

Fever 333 have announced the details of a new EP, titled as ‘Wrong Generation’, their first full release since their ‘Strength In Numb333rs’ Record.
It’s set to be released on October 23rd 2020 via Roadrunner Records / 333 Wreckords Crew, and will feature the track ‘Supremacy’ which was released in June 2020.
On the track, Jason Aalon Butler explains that he begun the writing process after spending 13 days on the streets on LA, marching with the Black Lives Matters protests following the murder of George Floyd.
“This project is art as activism first. I’m talking about what’s happening and what needs to happen. I hope you understand there’s going to be pain in progress. After dismantling and deconstructing all of these things, we can find a beautiful place to be together. For me, this whole EP is that 13 days after 34 years. You fucked with the WRONG GENERATION.”
